I never heard of this game but somehow it was in my backlog. It looks terrible and the native controls are the worst I have ever seen (arrow keys to move) and weird as hell wasd look/moving. I imagine some of this can be rebound but of the 5 minutes or less I have played it also seemed pretty hard even on the easiest difficulty. Are there any modernized versions of this or ways to play a revamped edition somewhere? I imagine the options are limited when it comes to a DOS version....

Just finished it using the raze source port game. While some small parts were ok, 70% of this game is complete garbage and not worth most people time. This game wasn't good in 1997 and it's not now. Since I enjoy punishing myself with obscure crap, I completed it, but you just can't recommend people buying it when there are tons of great Blood and Duke Nukem mods out there for free that does a way better job with build engine. Just bought a Steam Deck and was looking forward to playing this and World War 2 GI. Does anyone know if they run well on the Deck? And do I need to do anything specific to get them running? Thanks.

Ok, I figured out how to get Eduke32 to work with the game. But I can't figure out how to load the game with eduke via the steam library/shorcuts. Any ideas?

I love build engine games. But I can see why this is one of the lesser known build engine games. Why is so extremely difficult? Most of the time I get blown up from ♥♥♥♥ I can’t even see. I play duke on the 'come get some' difficulty but that’s nothing compared to the easiest difficulty of this. It kinda spoils the game IMO....
