This game is great. I typed "Decomposing" at a mutant and made its head explode. It's a very educational game and it's improving my career prospects too. My boss is impressed with how fast my typing has become after just 30 minutes of playing this game every day. I work as a paid internet shill for the Rothschilds/Illuminati/New World Order. My boss tells me that if I keep up my current pace of posting approximately 250 threads and comments on /b/ and /pol/ each day (consisting mostly of pro-Obama/Clinton, pro-FEMA, pro-Wall Street, pro-censorship, pro-HAARP propaganda), he's going to see about getting me a promotion. He's going to nominate me for the surgery to make me less reptilian so I can pass in public. Anyway, I'm at work, so I need to run my latest accolade of Sheldon Adelson and the Koch Brothers past the Reddit admins so that they can put it on the front page for everyone to see. Thanks Sega!

Adds a new game mode, a new class, upgrades for the four existing classes, new enemies, new weapons, tweaks to existing weapons/skills, and new Council missions with Psionic soldiers as rewards. The other DLCs are sort of okay but their features are mostly cosmetic and you don't need them to improve the experience of Enemy Unknown. Enemy Within, however, is essential to get and vastly improves on the base game.

Essential piece of DLC. New levels, new enemies/bosses, new items, a new character, a new game mode, and new secrets. You really can't play Isaac without it.

  • +Very hard.
  • +Near-endless replay value.
  • +Dark, bitterly ironic, and blasphemous content.
  • +Imaginative enemies and bosses.
  • +Secrets! So many secrets.

  • -Very hard.
  • -Seriously, those poo enemies (Squirts) are the worst and they will kill you every time.

  • +I ended up in space.
  • +You can sacrifice humans to Satan.
  • +I don't want to give away anything else, this game is full of secrets

  • -I'm not really sure how I ended up in space, or if I'll be able to recreate the exact things I was doing at the time.
  • -Not enough humans to sacrifice to Satan. Not nearly enough.

  • +Incredible story that unfolds at a good pace.
  • +Awesome voice acting.
  • +Great soundtrack from Jessica Curry. Very evocative music that compliments the acting, the ambient sounds, and the environments.
  • +Most of the puzzle elements from The Dark Descent are gone, in favor of a more streamlined narrative.
  • +Top-notch sound design, honestly some of the best I've ever experienced in a game. Fans whirr, metal creaks as it expands and contracts, disembodied voices hiss at you, pistons churn, coolant drips, and a horrific monstrosity grunts and gurgles from somewhere very close by that you can't place and OH GOD IT'S RIGHT THERE

  • -Tedious enemies, once you figure out how to avoid the first few it gets repetitive. On the upside, they are pretty freaky and you won't want to look at them (even though you don't lose sanity for doing so).
  • -The atmosphere is very intense, like The Dark Descent, but unlike the first game, I didn't feel like I was in constant danger.
  • -It's kind of short. I finished it and wanted more. Actually, that's not such a bad thing.

(also, the 20th century didn't begin until January 1, 1901)

Like most military shooters, you go into it like, "Oh yeah, 'Murica! Killl the bad guys!" The makers of this game expect that, and they've made a game that makes you feel bad for thinking that way.

tl;dr
until now I've never played a game that personally hated me.
