Can anyone here tell me why after many years, the issue of the game crashing when loading the Pigline level after completing the Streets has not been fixed? I played the original game a few years ago and it was ok. I went into playing the first game pretty excited cuz I've always heard people talking about the game positively but finished it kind of disappointed. Overall just kind of thought it as mid game and just assumed maybe it was a title you had to play when it came out and moved on. Now I just finished A Machine for Pigs after pushing it off cuz seems like people don't like it compared to the original and I'm just curious why? I kind of feel the same ...

When Mandus sacrificed himself and shut down the Machine, London was already under attack from the manpigs, and there had clearly been a lot of destruction. So even though the Machine stopped, the damage had already been done. I know part of the game is more allegorical and symbolic, but still, if we take the events at face value, what do you all think actually happened afterward? Did the manpigs just disappear? Did society collapse? I’d love to hear your interpretations....
