Just like I remember it, and I can finally play with a controller and the DLCs!

Not much to elaborate other than this is basically a slightly up scaled pack of the 2000s games with the DLCs and controller support, something the other steam version is missing.

A lot of the negative reviews appear to be coming from complaints of the servers not working great right away. They’ve been just fine for me so far though?

This is probably the most difficult positive review I have ever given a game.

I may be recommending this game as my overall experience with it was phenomenal. However, it is a very unique game in that it will require a massive amount of patience and grinding and I know for a fact that it definitely is not a casual friendly game.

You are given two Digimon that you have to raise. And when I say raise, I mean it. As in you have to feed them, make sure they use the bathroom, and also put them to bed properly in addition to training them to be stronger. This can be a tedious process, but I found it very enjoyable.

Grinding in this game also is very long and questionable, as you have a very strict limit on how much your Digimon max gains are per battle, regardless of how strong the foe is. You will be spending many hours grinding, unless you want to play on beginner mode which does make the game significantly easier and less grindy.

Overall, if you’re a Digimon fan, I can’t recommend the game enough. If you’re not a Digimon fan or not into grinding, I’d recommend playing this on beginner mode. There really is not a lot of shame in it as the main thing it does is just lessen the grind. This is a unique game that I am very happy I was able to play, but I know it isn’t for everyone.

I absolutely loved Civ 5 and it is one of my favorite games of all time, so I immediately purchased this game back in 2016 with very high hopes it would blow me away and be the next game I sunk 1000+ hours into playing. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite even get to the 100 hour mark with this game in the 6+ years I've owned it and found myself going back to Civ 5 even to this day.

The game improves a lot in the features from Civ 5, allowing more ways run your civilization with the unit improvements such as allowing attachment of civilian unites to military ones to protect them as well as allowing districts so that a city that was started surrounded by land could still access the ocean if it was at least a few tiles away. But even with all of these improvements, I couldn't get over a lot of the aesthetic choices they went with this game. The cartoony and exaggerated expressions from the Civ leaders and units didn't really click with me and kind of made the experience feel more cheap as compared to the more realistic and compelling aesthetic that Civ 5 had. I also did not like the change of workers expiring after improving a certain amount of tiles whereas 5 kept your workers to continually improve.

The agenda system also does dampen the experience a little for me as well as I often found leaders despising me just because I wouldn't fit what they prefer, such as lacking in culture. I'm sure others would find this setting interesting as it adds another dynamic in relations, but I found it very annoying as it didn't make a lot of sense to ruin relations just because my empire wasn't progressing in a way that the AI thought suitable.

It may be a fit unfair with how much I do compare this game to Civ 5, but it is hard not to given this was the next step taken in the series. Given how I hold Civ 5 in such high regard and how much of a let down this game was in comparison, I honestly cannot recommend it to others. If you did not like Civ 5, this game might be a good change of pace to get into. But if you are similar to me and love Civ 5, I would recommend awaiting to see if Civ 7 will be the next step that takes the series to a higher level, as Civ 6 failed to do so in my opinion.

My first Fallout game...

Yes it says I only have 11 hours playing this game and I have reviews several years old of the previous main Fallout games on here. But this game was my first experience with Fallout when I purchased it in 2009 on my Xbox 360, because my parents wouldn't let me purchase GTA 4 as I was only 13 at the time. I have to say what I couldn't have imagined saying back then: Thank you mom and dad for not letting me get GTA, as I probably wouldn't have gotten into this series as soon, or ever.

Fallout 3 is a massive RPG where you can explore a post apocalyptic wasteland where there is absolutely no shortage of things to do. Fight mutants, talk to morally questionable characters, enslave people, be Nicolas Cage and steal the Declaration of Independence, the works! The way to accomplish this is all up to you as well as you can customize your character in multiple manners that offer several unique ways to experience the game. Whether you want to be a brute that clubs enemies to death, or a finesse assassin that takes out targets via stealth, or a smooth talker that uses words to get his way, or even some combination of all of them! There is great variety in weapons and enemies to fight. You can use melee weapons, firearms, explosives etc. to deal with bloodthirsty raiders, freakish zombie ghouls and the rest of irradiated abominations that you will encounter in the wasteland.

The amount of quests is also very abundant as you can easily log 100+ hours doing activities in the wasteland without even focusing on the main story questline. Many of them are unique and interesting. Others are relatively "meh" at best, but will normally reward you quite generously with Exp, and item or even possibly a Perk that upgrades your character.

There are few negatives to this game I can provide, one being that it does take approximately 20-40 minutes to get to the true freedom that you are normally provided within the first 5 minutes of the other games in the series due to this games intro. Also the shooting aspect of the game can be a little wonky even once fully upgraded as the game does try to put the RPG aspect first and want you to rely on the VATS system to properly shoot. And something that is not this games fault, but New Vegas to me is definitely a superior experience in almost every facet and it is hard to not compare the games due to how similar they are, but this game will offer unique experiences you won't find in New Vegas.

Overall I cannot recommend this game enough and the series is legendary for a reason. I would highly recommend this game to anyone that would love to get into Fallout or even to just enjoy a great RPG.

It may say right now that I only have a meager 148.6 hours on record for this game, but I can assure you that I easily have logged well over 1,000 hours of this game since it came out in 2010 on my Xbox 360 and PC.

Over the course of playing Fallout 1 through 4, I can safely say that I have not had a better time than when playing through Fallout: New Vegas. It is not just the best Fallout game, it quite possibly is the best RPG to ever exist.

You are thrown into a Post Apocalyptic world just like the other main games in the series. You are able to go anywhere, and do anything you want in the Mojave Wasteland right from the get go (although some places are recommended more than others to start). Your character can be made in a variety of ways to specialize in certain weapon types, non-combative skills (such as lockpicking and speech) and of course perks that make your character to fit your unique play style.

The amount of quests and general things to do in this game is staggering. Despite my over 1,000 hours of this game, I still am unsure if I have done everything I could within this game. There are so many different options to do the many different quests, and different factions to side with to provide a unique ending. It is quite impressive this game that was made in 2010 has much more compelling content than most AAA games released in recent years.

If there is one negative about this game, it unfortunately does suffer from glitches (however these can be remedied by using mods). The controls are slightly outdated as well, but overall the game does still play amazing as long as you aren't expecting a Call of Duty level of shooting focus. Voice acting is also spotty with a fair amount of characters and the animations are quite stiff and inordinate at times.

If you love RPGs, this game is an easy must play and I can't recommend it any more.

The fact that a game with this staggering amount of content came out in 1998 is astounding.

Fallout 2 takes everything the original game did and takes it to the next level. The game plays very similar to the first with it being a top down RPG and turn based combat. The game adds much more content than the first as there is a much wider array of weaponry and armor to utilize in the game. There is also a bigger map to explore, more cities, more enemies and more ways to die!

The game also takes a strikingly longer time to complete than the first one, as it can definitely take you around 20 hours to complete the main story unless you follow a very specified guide on how to complete the game faster. And do not get me started on the final boss. He shows little mercy.

Fallout 2 is still a great game today, albeit it suffers from being dated and takes time getting used to for modern gamers. If you love classic RPGs or the Fallout series, definitely check this one out.

Back to where it all started...

Fallout is one of the greatest video game series of all time, and with this title, you can check out how the series came to be.

Fallout is a top down RPG that takes you into an unforgiving world that will kill you over and over again for a variety of reasons. Were you under prepared to take on a bunch of raiders? You'll probably die. Did you walk into the wrong area with hostile mutants? You'll most likely die. Were you fully prepared and armed to the tooth to your best ability? You might still die!

The combat system is entirely based on your skill points and luck. A true RPG to the core, being skilled with a weapon is essential to make it through most parts of the game and leveling up to take on the later stage enemies. Saving frequently is EXTREMELY recommended due to the high probability of death in many areas of the game. Many of the combat and interaction mechanics are dated and will require patience to get used to.

The game is relatively short, as if you do know what you are doing you can easily complete the game in less than 7 hours if you are not speed running. Many quests have different ways of completing them and you can fine tune your character to complete them in a specific way with skill points and perks.

If there is one major downside to the game, it simply is that it is dated by today's standard and will create frustration with many gamers who are used to more modern mechanics that allow streamlined play. The game is also quite unfair with the difficulty and luck involved in progressing in some areas, but you can definitely tip the scales in your favor if you look in the right places.

It may take a while to get into, but if you have the patience and a love for RPGs or the Fallout series in general, I definitely recommend giving this game a shot.

When you think of a very niche genre, it is hard to come up with any series that continues to outdo itself in terms of quality with each iteration. Danganronpa V3 takes everything the previous two games had and creates it into a marvelous and zany experience rarely found in most entertainment today.

The game does follow a similar plot as the rest of the series with high school students being trapped and forced into trying to get away with murder. Brand new unique characters with distinctive personalities that'll you will fall in love with, or hate to their very core. The story takes unexpected turns, insane situations and heartbreaking drama to create an unforgettable experience in one of the craziest games you will ever played.

Class trials do return from the previous titles, however they do have new variants of old mini games as well as brand new ones that make the trial even more intense. There is also different routes to take in each trial at certain points, including the feature to lie which is new to the series that adds a completely new element to reaching your conclusion.

The game finally fixes what was lacking in the previous titles by adding more replayability features into the game. You can go back to trials and try different ways to proceed the case to see a different perspective than what you experienced previously. There is also a new post game RPG style game mode that can become insanely addicting in developing characters to take on a dungeon crawling experience. It is an odd, but insanely satisfying addition that will keep you playing well after you complete the story.

If there is one potential negative to say about the game, it is that the ending will more than likely be very controversial, especially to those who are invested into the story. The writer became quite ambitious with what he is attempting with the ending, and to some it is genius, but others (fans in particular) will protest it.

Quite frankly, I don't know if there ever will be a game as unique and insane as Danganronpa V3 in the future. I highly recommend this series in general and POSITIVELY recommend playing the games in order. The series gets better as it goes and is worth checking out without a doubt.

Danganronpa 2 improves on a lot of what the first game had to offer. I remember purchasing this game over 2 years ago briefly after I finished the first game thinking it would be hard to top, but it is safe to say that this game is a great joy to play.

The game follows a similar premise as the first in that you have high school students trapped and forced to get away with a murder. Instead of the confines of a school, this game takes place on a series of tropical islands, bringing a more vibrant color and tone compared to the first one, almost making it more unsettling in a way when things get disturbing. Each character has a well defined personality and like the previous game, you will most likely empathize with some and despise others.

The gameplay is much more varied in this title than the previous as each class trial comes with returning mini games as well as new ones to mix up the experience more. There are also additional collectibles to obtain in the game that do help increase replayability, which was a bit lacking in the first game.

The game does suffer from what the first game had in terms of replayability as outside of the additional game you unlock after completing the story and the collectibles, there isn't much else worth going back and playing again. There are a few secret scenes that you can trigger while holding certain items as well, but it would have been nice to get more gameplay features to keep coming back for more.

I absolutely loved this title, and I STRONGLY STRONGLY STRONGLY recommend playing the first game before touching this one. This game does outshine the first in terms of gameplay, plot and characters in my opinion, and if you enjoyed the first, you'll love this!

If you are a fan of graphic novels or thrillers in general (or you like a wacky and intense game) then this is the game for you.

A very unique and stylized game, Danganronpa takes you through a twisting and turning plot involving 15 high school students trapped in the school being pitted against each other to get away with a murder. There is drama, betrayal and a lot of strangely colored blood.

All of the characters in this game are unique and have very defining personalities. You will most likely find at least 2 or 3 of the characters you'll come to love, and then possibly at least 1 you will hate, which intensifies the emotion when one of them inevitably meets a bad end.

A lot of the game involves solving murders and playing mini games in class trials to come to a valid conclusion. It's like reading a novel that turns into an arcade every now and then.

If there is anything negative to say about this game, it simply is the mini games can be a little repetitive as you end up doing them every single trial. There also isn't a lot of replayability other than there is a bonus game after you complete the main story, unless you do want to try and ace every mini game and do each trial perfectly.

Danganronpa is simply an awesome game and I definitely think anyone that wants a great twisting thriller plot will most definitely appreciate it.
