Its fun, I killed the final boss before doing any other missions which I didnt know so the story's continuity felt weird. Still a solid TPS/FPS Hybrid. I like hunting weapons and collectables and it had plenty.

aaaaaaa-MAZIN!! I can now be CAO CAO across the lands of ancient china before the communists took over. I bought all the farms taxed them completely and starved the rest of China into submission while selling them it back at the government price I set. 10/10 good communist simulator.

The game is pretty decent until you get into combat. It's too clunky to be considered souls-like combat. Anyone who is buying this game because it looks like souls combat will be let down. There is not enough precision in the rolling and you get bogged down by just a bag so the only option you have left is blocking which is the majority of the time hit or miss. My only issue is that the majority of the game is based around it's combat. If that's the main mechanic of the game to progress it HAS to be fun and responsive. It cannot feel like tank controls with a lock on camera. If they make combat responsive I can definitely come back to this and play it, as of right now it's just far too frustrating to continue on.

EDIT: I've finally taken it upon myself to play it since my last review. I gotta say since understanding the combat and mechanics better, it's not a bad game at all. Lots of cool stuff for sure.

One of the best games on steam hands down. Excellent remake, awesome amount of replayability and, fantastic nostalgia with an incredible amount of environmental storytelling. Well worth 60$ for what I expected versus what I got.

Since patch 6.2, I can finally reccomend this game ONLY if you have 1-2 others to play with and are not scared of becoming a social butterfly. It's a bit of a grind and it's unforgiving as you can imagine. A word of advice, start creating alliances and friends EVERYWHERE because the megacompanies if you're not them you WILL be destroyed. Ran into a 40 man company on an island and promptly got bodyblock killed along with my 5 other guys. Once those freaks start sailing towards other people I doubt there will be much fun to be had so, get your 25$ worth now while the game is still fresh.

Let me start off by saying this. I am NOT a fan of assassin's creed games at all. The only ones that I like are AC1&2 and I think its only due to nostalgia growing up.

I only have a few gripes, one being the splash page I'm hit with that tells me the team that worked on this game are from all different orentations, sexual prefrences and have different gender identities. Here's a/some questions for the developers that you need to ask yourselves when putting information up, "Who the ♥♥♥♥ cares or, Why should someone care about this ♥♥♥♥?". Nobody gives a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you identify as a flying pantaloon with 3 leg holes. Honestly, stop with this ♥♥♥♥ nobody gives an ounce of loaf-pinching ♥♥♥♥ that you identify as anything but a game developer, keep to games not politics.

The other gripe I have has nothing to do with the game or the company but the other fans. Shut the ♥♥♥♥ up about microtransactions. It's a single player game, I'm tired of you whiney ass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ruining my experience because you don't like paying for ♥♥♥♥, then don't pay and let me buy my sick pegasus skin in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ peace you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 21 year old balding idiots. Seriously some of you guys out there look like walking thumbs, grow some hair.

Now as for the game. I'm really hooked, thank god their political idiologue didn't affect the game. I actually think the way they portrayed greece is pretty good and I really enjoy it so far. It's cool how you can bang feminine men and women without worrying about promiscuity. I still find it a shame that I couldn't have sex with socrates, really wish that was an option cause that ♥♥♥♥ woulda been cool asf. Overall, the setting, music and, color pallette are fantastic. Top notch, you've either created a new fan(if you continue down the way you did it with this game) if you stay authentic, or, created a really mouthy critic if you ♥♥♥♥ up ubi. Keep this level of game development up and I can't help but throw my wallet at you.

I thoroughly enjoy this game. The story is pretty good so far and the cultist stuff is really cool and mysterious. I actually feel as though my choices affect the world to some extent and— good on ubisoft for doing that. A lot of the quests I've done and stuff I picked are referenced back to as if the choices give people some inclination of who I am making my character more fleshed out.

So I don't get cardiovascular disease of the fingers I'm going to stop typing now, all the blood has gone to my fingers and none to my heart. 8/10.
