I’ve got over 500 hours on this account, but in total I’ve played more than 3500. Could’ve been more, but I left the game for a few years. Still, I always end up coming back. I don’t even know why. Something about TF2 just sticks with you.

It’s not the most balanced game. It’s buggy, messy, and sometimes straight up broken. But I don’t care. I’ve spent so many hours here, messing around in casuals, joining the most cursed community servers, laughing at random crits, dying to Spies I should’ve seen coming. It’s all burned into my brain at this point.

There were times where it felt like the game was done. The bots, the lack of updates, all that. But somehow, it never really died. It just sat there. Waiting. And whenever I reinstall it, it’s like nothing changed. Same chaos. Same vibe. Same weird feeling of comfort.

It’s not perfect, and it never was. But it’s home. And no matter how long I’m gone, I always come back.
