I really like the game, according to their store page they use AI for "background prop assets" which is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but other than that the rest of the game is some of the most fun i've had in a long time

I decided to give the game a second chance, but after 17 hours of playing i don't really feel like it's worth 70 dollars, and i'm not at all motivated to do further playthroughs due to how the story is split up. there's quite a few sections that are just boring and tedious, additionally a lot of grace's gameplay was pretty boring and tedious. I felt punished for actually killing zombies as grace, since when i finally got to play the care center as leon it was almost completely empty which resulted in me just opening some item boxes and proceeding to the next area..... three major changes that would help this game for subsequent playthroughs is :

1: give us the ability to separate grace and leon's sections after beating the game the first time.

2: repopulate the care center section for leon with zombies and bullets, it's not at all fun to play him for less than 15 mins in the first half of the game.

3: allow us to skip the orphanage section on subsequent playthroughs, that part was incredibly boring

its fun, reminds me of the old games

If you want just a shot for shot remake of the original with better graphics, that's not what this game is. This game is an action game with a VERY generous time slow when you're in menus for abilities, and story wise it's incorporating a lot of ideas that were expanded upon in prequel games such as Crisis Core. If you're incredibly attached to something being EXACTLY the same then steer clear. But if you love the original and all the other FF7 media then it's a really great expansion of the universe and characters. All the side characters interact in events much more, with cloud as well as with each other.

coming from having played warframe 10 or so years ago and playing lots of gacha games the contrast really makes TFD stand out, even playing completely F2P i dont feel the need to spend to get things i want to progress the way i do in a gacha game. I've farmed a few ultimate descendants and have almost 3 competely built and the amount of control i have over what i go for, along with the fact that it's never taken me more than a day or two to farm for a character just make the game feel really good to play.

character deaths are supposed to be based on "karma" but when doing all the good karma options still having characters die..... nice game guys

the biggest problem in this game is your teammates who have never played a cooperative shooter or seemingly even this game ever before in their lives, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
