A bit clunky. The units are hard to see sometimes. A bit different than the previous ones, but a welcome change. Overall I'm enjoying it. I think as of today (2/9/2025) it's 50/50 on steam reviews and that about sums it up. Not great, but not bad either. Mostly it's the hope of future content, patches and upgrades. So far it has a great 'core' that has potential.

A very fun tactical and strategic game. You get attached to your squad members and it's so sad when you lose one (or more!) of your longtime 'friends'. Highly recommend it though!

Fun game, can play a game in 4 minutes (if you have your ride already built).

You can play it however you want... Grind away for free (that'll take you a awhile), or pay bazillions and get all the cool stuff. Or somewhere in the middle like I did.

I got some cool stuff that I payed for with real $$$, and that's good enough for me.

It keeps getting better and better! My K/D ratio is not very high (I am old, and have poor reflexes); regardless, I have a BLAST playing this game! It's best played with people you know (IRL or Virtual Friends). Communication is key! It's still in alpha, but it's pretty damn stable and I can't wait to see how the Devs keep improving it!

Fun game! Not as complex as Hearts of Iron (which I love as well), but still a VERY strategic gem of a game (just on a different, simpler level). Highly recommend!

No legged guys running around shooting and hacking up other no legged guys and monsters. Surprisingly addictive - annoying yet fun all wrapped up in an easy to learn interface.

I shed tears when my best fighter was swallowed whole by a monster. *burp*

Would recommend you buy it too; because its not every day you can get this level of fun without legs being involved.

I backed it from the start! Slick graphics, slick marketing, all that jazz. Was super excited the first time I logged in to Alpha, then the bunny hopping began... It was then the I realized my bunny ears had probably misread the fine print.

I'm too old for a bunny hopping WW2 shooter.

I think this game is EXACTLY what the devs described and wanted, so it's on me, not them. I wish them good luck as I think they're a talented group of guys; they just misinterpreted what the majority of modern gamers want. Or not, I'm just some random guy writing a review in the comfort of my gaming chair. I could be wrong.

Men work in teams and get shtuff done. Boys think they can do it themselves and quickly die. Be a man, not a boy.

Buy this game, join a server, listen, learn and survive.

If you're a little boy looking to boost your teeny little Rambo ego, you will quickly die. It's called SQUAD for a reason - teamwork is KEY.
