This is the first game where I wanted to have the option of giving things to the NPC.

A macabre story of people trying to survive a war, this game connects to you on a human level. There are no enemies in this game, no allies. There are only people: kids, men, women, in a town ravaged by war, having lost something, trying to make it out alive with whatever they have, and can get. Just like you.

For a game, the moral quandry it puts you in is unnerving. You may be lucky to end up in a scenario where you can survive scavenging, or have the option of killing cruel soldiers and thugs and thieves that make you feel good about yourself. You may also end up in a situation where you have to make the choice between stealing the only provision an elderly woman and her son have to survive, and letting you and/or your friends starve to death. To make a choice between eating the last piece of food you have, or offering it to a starving homeless man.

Solid graphics for a side scroller, great background score, and even though the game does get repetitive after a point, it doesn't get boring at any point.

This game is worth it even when not on sale, and this is something anyone who has ever played any form of FPS should buy; this is not a game, it's an experience. As they said, there is no right or wrong, there is no good or bad, only choices. The question is, can you make the choice, and can you live with the choice?
