Well, when you spend your last money you took as a credit to buy food because you got your salary unpaid on that game should scream that the game is damn great.

This is one of those franchises you probably never heard before, but then, bam, favourite game ever.

After about 1500 hours i think a can give a conclusion.

By two words: go play Paladins or Overwatch.

The game is totally abandoned by valve, filled with aimbots, lagbots and god knows whatever more. The game is also free, but in this case it's not a good thing, because it opened for cheaters to create another acoounts if previous was banned. Casual mode is trash, dont know what are ranks for, probably just for bells and whistles, so absolutely no balance and most games either you spawncamping the enemy or vise versa. Lobbies filled with 5-year old kids, screaming in their mics and just wasting a player slot.
There's no more fun on servers, the goal of almost every player is to insult everyone as much as possible. You can be kicked for taunting, leaving the keyboard for 1-2 mins, for your profile pic or a nickname, or wearing gibus, and no matter that you're the best player in your team. People become much saltier, and it's almost impossible to meet someone adequate. Also should admit that "after 9 years of development" and 10 eyars after public launch this game still has terrible tutorial, that teaches you how to move and shoot, but tells you nothing about basic unique game mechanics. This leads us to ton of people who say something like "how you saw me i was invisible" after you bump them. (And sometimes they kick you. Cos "you're a cheater"). Not gonna whine avbout "fair and balanced" random crits, but get ready to die 3 sec before match ends, after you destroyed a whole enemy team, by a random spam rocket, and then feel the taste of loosing. Random crits is more like persistent crits, a-hu-hu.
Competitive mode is abandoned by players, nobody plays it and if you'll give it a try you'll be waiting about 7-10 mins to start a match, that has the same problems as casual mode.
But hey, we have community servers? Ye, it's better place to play, but you still will suffer because of cheaters and salty people. And get ready for "cp_minecraft_neon_lowgrav_randomizer_10x_100x_1488x_allcrits_norespawntime_orange_trade" servers, because the search list filled mostly by them.
Oh, about updates. While i played this game, there was only one update that gave us 4 new weapons (please) and some maps and still, almost nobody use those weapons and nobody plays those maps. It's all about 2fort, upward, goldrush, granary and turbine. But we have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of cosmetic cases tho. Go buy em.

There's also some pros like wonderful game mechanics and amount of weapons (added years ago) and strats you can use, but for now that's all.

So, if you're here and you're just a player, not a big trader, I want you to think about is this game really worth to play or try to play? I'm gonna be a bit lyric now. Like almighty Uncle Sam I want you to sell your inventory, buy some good games and leave this TF2 living corpse to rot completely.

С чего бы начать.

Всем любителем жанра (да и не только им) определённо стоит поиграть в Террарию и тому есть большое количество причин.

Перечислим плюсы:
+ Простой и понятный, но от этого ни разу не скучный геймплей.
+ Крайне приятная графическая составляющая игры: цвета яркие, всё смотрится очень насыщенно, при этом очень детально прорисованы спрайты игры. Построишь домик и можешь потом некоторое время просто наблюдать на то, как жучок в банке летает, или всякие штуки блестят.
+ Огромным плюсом игры является разнообразие предоставляемого вооружения, аксессуаров, возможности кастомизации и прочего. Хочешь - закидай врагов пчелиными гранатами, хочешь - лазерами или сожги всех огнемётом. Гибкости прохождению даёт и наличие нескольких классов и подклассов в игре, но никто не запрещает вам комбинировать различные педметы так, как вам угодно.
+ В игре присутствуют боссы и минибоссы, их в игре с несколько десятков и все они уникальны в своём поведении.
+ Большим плюсом будут различные ивенты в игре, будь то кровавая луна или нашествие пиратов. Эти события просто приятны тем, что можно раскидывать врагов на право и налево, наслаждаясь своей мощью, что разумеется не останется незамеченным и Вы будете награждены какими-нибудь редкими предметами.
+ Восхитительный саундтрек.
+ Игровой мир процедурно генерируемый, но не лишён нескольких обязательных в нём структур, вроде огромного данжа, например. Это позволяет исследовать карту на всех этапах игры, что делает эндгейм таким же интересным, как и начало.
+ Наличие мультиплеера в этой игре открывает новые возможности вроде серверов с минииграми, коих великое множество. А иногда просто приятно построить что-нибудь с друзьями или поохотится на боссов.
+ Игра реиграбельна, лично я её перепрошёл раз 10 точно.
+ Моды. Игра очень плотно поддерживается сообществом, поэтому если Вам надоела её ванильная версия, к Вашему выбору большое количество модификаций.

Минусы:
- Единственным минусом я могу отметить только то, что порой таки приходится заниматься гриндом врагов, чтобы выбить какую-нибудь крайне необходимую штуку, вроде призывателя одного из боссов.

Игру определённо рекомендую, возможно лучшая в жанре песочницы оная.
