Monster Hunter Wilds is finally here and besides a few gripes, it's damn near perfect.
The gameplay and story reached a new high for this already great series, I'm not sure how they did it.

Overall, this is by far one of the best video games I've ever played, it's much less a game and more of an experience, but then why did I give it a negative review?

Performance and optimization, that's why.

I've got a pretty beefy machine myself, but the performance has been all over the place with multiple crashes and many graphical issues, for a game that's reaching above the usual AAA asking price, this is simply unacceptable.

It's clear this game needed a longer time in the oven to iron out the performance, but because it wasn't able to it left the people with non cutting edge machines behind. Which I find to be the biggest shame of all.

The people who made the actual game should be applauded, but this negative review is aimed at the higherups who chose to rush this game's development, not the people who made this absolute gem.
