Skyrim meets Dark Souls.
Simpler combat than dark souls, but also less fair.
Less quests and general content than skyrim, but what is there is better designed.
Story is more engaging than skyrim IMHO, but then again that's hardly much of an achievement.
Still, would not recommend a purchase for the story.

If you had issues with guards repeating arrow to the knee stuff in skyrim, this has the same stuff but an order of magnitude worse.

- Great game if you like min/maxing, equipment gathering etc.
- Pawn(companion) system is fun, but the AI leaves quite a bit to be desired(they don't keep busy, wander around a lot)
- Bitterblack isle(expansion/dlc area) is a very memorable dungeon, very dark souls inspired and ends up better than most areas of dark souls.


Although it is flawed in many ways, it's a very unique game and one of the best I played in a long time.
