only downsides are I had to go through trial and error downloading random fixes to play with modern resolution and there's no steam achievements.

Pretty alright game. You die easily so it gets kinda annoying but it isn't a horrible loop to get all the achievements

**update, nearly a year later, finished the game, now time to 100% the achievements, the story is great don't listen to bubble blowing babies who say it's nonexistent.

Best played with the Unofficial community patch mod
not really any endgame but it's fun to play through and level up the vault hunters
unlike every other borderlands game the NPCs actually call you by your name and make you feel involved in the story
