I bought it, because Pixelatto asked me to try it on his profile.
So far it is good, challenging in a sadistic way, but good.
You just have to understand the point behind what Pixelatto tries to deliver here.
And after understanding it, you will see it the same way I do.
This game is awesome. The challenge in this game is not the ridiculously hard levels and the well hidden secret items, no (!), it is the damn movement, which makes you hate it from the first minute. If you consider taking your time and learn the perfectly well chosen unnecessities, that your character can use from the first second and use those at the perfect places for them to be used, you will experience a fresh new way of jump and run games.

And this is the reason, why this game is awesome.

It is a jump and run puzzle with nervous breakdown and rage warranty, but it still is high quality software. I really appreciate the games, that Pixelatto produces. They are fun and challenging. Ugly as ♥♥♥♥, but still highly enjoyable.

Don't change, Pixelatto! You are doing a great job as a game developer!

This game totally deserves the Overwhelming Positive review rank.
It is full of fun experiences and hilarious jokes.
Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT watch any content about this game.
Go in blind and you will totally experience surprises, which are meant to be experienced yourself.

Requirements for this game are a little above DOOM™, controls are the same as Super Mario Bros.™ from NES™ (Nintendo™ , don't sue me, please!), Sounds is perfectly picked for every scene, graphics are...well...don't expect Cyperpunk 2077™ and you should be fine.

All in all this game delivers LOVE and HUGS! in a bloody matter.

Great game.

Seven main stories, that are experienced through plenty people over many episodes (even New Game +). The minigames are fun, the dialogs are interesting, the locations are nice to look at.

There are some things, that I wished they would reconsider. Like the minigames being replayable, instead of One Try..."screwed up, try again after playing the whole game through.".
But all in all it was a nice story, that had some suprising outcomes.

I enjoyed it.

EDIT: Loved the soundtrack!

I just love it.

And I love that the developer cares.

It is the perfect game for people learning about coding.
This game should be in every recommendation library for beginners to understand how to use their coding basics.

I love such games. There should be way more of those.

I liked the previous games and enjoyed them with friends, just like this one,
but sadly I am missing something in this one.
The world feels hardly copy&pasted in most parts.
There is no real innovation to the previous parts.
Sure, there is new stuff, but it doesn't feel relevant at all.
After beating the game once I saw no motivation to play it again, which kinda sucks, since there is 3 NEW GAME + Modes following. But the game just doesn't catch me.

Hopefully the DLCs make the game more fun, like random area mini-bosses, challenging condition-changes, more differences between the characters, a lot more enemy types with different approaches needed to kill them and most important...some areas where you have to use your brain to get through. Because so far, there are none of those. Just plain rush through and evade crap.

First I thought Bennett Foddy is suicidal for bringing out such a game.
Then I saw that he is Australian and danger is nothing to him

This game is for masochists and only those!

You will experience rage in a form, that you have never felt before.
And the higher you get, the more it will pain to fall back down.
Just do yourself a favor and stay away from this.

An Indie Masterpiece.
Short, Fun, playable on a potato machine and absolutely worth the price.
I really enjoyed it and hope there will be a second Gunpoint with even more levels, upgrades and shop items.
Maybe even an amazing workshop support with not just levels, but also new enemies, new gadgets and new outfits.
Would totally pay 19€ for that.
Sadly there is no Gunpoint or Heat Signature on GOG. Prefer that platform more.

Game is really fun, if you play at late hours and all the toxic players are offline.
Most people then are really chill. Played most of the time solo and really enjoyed it so far.

There is one thing, that would make this game waaaay better. Huge ARCs being able to destroy parts of the buildings. This way people won't cheese them the whole time.

Oh and Embark Studios: BAN confirmed cheaters immediately. There are even Twitch Streamers, that announce how much they cheat in this game.
