This is one of the best simulator games I have ever played. It really, truly is nostalgic. Thank you to the devs for making something that feels so cozy and fun. If you are looking for a game to unwind to, without the pressure like most of the other sims out there, look no further.

There are so many great things about Ashes of Creation. It has one of the best combat systems I have ever experienced in a MMO to start. After having played Alpha & now Early Access here on Steam, the game is a LOT more polished. Many people are freaking out because of the servers being on fire from the mass amount of people on launch day... Most games have a rough launch day, they will get servers sorted. This shows how many people are so excited for this game!

Overall Ashes of Creation is one of the best MMO sandbox style games I have played, and their vision is on track to make it a great game.

This game is great, It is so much fun to run around in the open world with your friends all over in your private server. The Gportal servers were dog S**T for the entirety of early access so we missed out on a lot of it, but we still are having so much fun!

If you are looking for a open world, survival, MMO... Look no further :)

This is a great game, it plays very well. The combat is great, the world is beautiful and filled with wonder. It has been a pleasure playing the little bit I have. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this game. I am looking forward to the dedicated servers as well. If you like Valheim and Runescape, you will probably love this survival game. Building is satisfying as well. But my favorite part was the wonder the world brought to you when exploring it. The weather and atmospheric immersion really set the scene for a great adventure with friends.

I have been streaming and playing Pax Dei since day 1. It is a great game, it is going to need a lot of love over the next many months to reach its full potential. It has been a really great game to bring my community together within our clan The Order of the BloodBrothers. We have been having so much fun role playing, exploring, running dungeons, building and meeting new people.

While the end game systems need a lot of work, you are able to still enjoy the game as it currently is. The grind is real in Pax Dei, that is for sure. Having a large community and clan working together makes it a breeze however. I have high hopes for the future of the game. Mainframe might just have what it takes to see this project through with their vision. Only time will tell however. ***Edited for 4.22.2025 (Changed to not recommended): 10 months in we have gotten very little content added to the game. I will be publishing my 2k hour review soon. If they go to the monthly price per plot any time soon... It will not be good for the game. The lack of communication from the developers is very disheartening to say the least.

The combat feels really fluid and satisfying. I was worried it would be clunky or feel off, but it feels really great. The Co-Op scaling works really great as well, you never feel over or under powered. The story mode however short, was very well put together and enjoyable. It is really great to see a truly well built Warhammer 40k game!

This is a great game, it needs some work still but it is really fun. Most of the players giving it bad reviews must not have given it a chance. It is free to play with common gear, ALL players in the starter dungeons must bring common gear. If you want to go into harder dungeons with higher risk & reward, then you must buy the knight package in-game and unlock them. It is a lot of fun and playable without this package to let you know if it is a game you are wanting to buy to play more of.

My only real complaint is the combat is a bit wonky at times & i feel the exits are very scarce at times (maybe that is their intent) Most players I have encountered will not KOS you and choose to help or avoid you rather than trying to kill you (at least in the common tier dungeons) This might be because they know your gear is not that good, but I cant say for sure.

TLDR: Over all its free so I say give it a try and see if you like it, you can fully play the common tier of dungeons.

P.S. There is NO pay to win & NOT sh*t ton of micro-transactions like a lot of other games. They do have skins, but even a lot of those require you to earn something in-game to unlock them and cannot simply be bought.

I cannot recommend this game enough. If you love Star Wars and never got the chance to play the original Star Wars Battlefront 2 when it came out, grab this and have a blast. I played through the entire campaign the day after release and it brought me back to some great memories. I only had 1 issue with the game, not being able to un-invert my space controls. This has since been corrected and now you can properly fly your space ships.

From what I tested with multi-player, everything works great. Servers all showed up for me day 1. I was able to self host a server and people joined no problem. I was also able to get onto other players self hosted server no issue. I bring this up because I heard some people had issues connecting or seeing server day 1, but I had no issues right out of the box.

Speaking of boxes, I still have my original Star Wars Battlefront 2 box with the disks! If you already have the other Battlefront 2 (classic) on Steam there might not be a reason to buy this if you ONLY plan on playing single player as its the same game with a little bit better textures. But multi-player is where this will really shine, bringing a game I know and love to a new generation.

There are some cool changes to the game as well such as being able to play all heros and villains on all maps among other things.

It really is a shame how this game turned out, they can still save it with a lot of work. But the state of this game is just simply not good. They tried to many new things that deviated very far from what we once knew and loved. Being apart of the alpha and beta stages of this game I tried my best to get the issues realized, but they fell on deaf ears.

If you ignore all the bugs and glitches in this game you are still left with a mess. It ends up being extremely enjoyable to play because they messed up the interface so much over the first game. The camera moves on its own, the game will lock up all the time, during combat the systems they put in place make it very hard to even tell whats going on and whats happening where. Honestly it just feels tossed together, its like the devs did not want it to be so much like the first game that they ruined it by trying to make it so unique. There are so many off putting things like when someone attacks every single thing on the field will twist with no animation and just rotate to observe the attack taking place by the unit taking the action, then they will abruptly twist and rotate back to face forward.

There are so many problems with this game, even if you can get it on sale I cant recommend it as its so off putting to play its worth no price until it is fixed... and it needs a LOT of work. But hey at least they are releasing several GB patches every other day for it...
