very chill, all the logistics fun of stormworks but without the mechanical engineering degree required

A hidden gem for the moment, it takes a moment to see it's greatness but once it clicks it's very fun.
I love when i can put a backpack into another backpack infinitely and loot goblin like crazy, i wish it was coop but i'm enjoying this as much as zomboid or dayz for the moment.

I have spent a considerable time in the dunes and i have uncovered my wishes;
1. I would love additional larger lights for my base, the existing ones require an excessive amount for even a moderate sized room.
2. The permissions system might benefit from more ranks or modularity, some higher tier machines i'd like to keep open for more trusted members and I'd like the option to set my pentashields to Atreides aligned people entirely.
3. Fixing the welding of alternate variant styles being based on the original model instead of the applied one.

Holy cope everyone negative reviewing because they didn't look at any of the content which clearly shows this is barebones engine playtest, the devs were completely open about this and it plays fine!
Yes there are no planets/water/functional blocks, they said this and told us it's mostly for building with the new grid system while they cook on this longer. (which they have proven they will after SE1's progress)
There is a roadmap, there is multiple videos and probably even streams showing what you get in this game at the moment but if you bought this blindly then might I suggest doing more research on your purchases beforehand.

it takes a little to figure it out but god is it the most enjoyable experience once you get the jist of it, try to be open to restarting/saving/loading and don't get distracted driving carrier next to islands or you'll beach it lmao

Finished all the current stuff in 4 hours accidentally, can finally start gigafactory now!
It's pretty chill and the dungeon mode is a nice time filler, you don't need to optimise your automation or anything
Just be aware as of this review, the larger map you pick the slower the resources spawn so you'll have to manually mine hings a bit more until you have a good amount of collectors setup and by that point you'll have probably finished research.
Keen to see how the game will turn out with new updates

cool dev, followed progress from the moment it was announced and loved the demo, the full game is even better and just as chill to play. get it for your friends too!

This game is so underrated, most accessible and player friendly mmo I've seen yet and there's so much to do.
I started when they brought OCE server out and I haven't stopped, probably won't until I've finished all the storylines and hopefully endgame stuff too

very easy going resource farm, good pace of progression and simple to pick up.
well worth the price

Update: keep getting this game, the dev is really nice and put in good work on this!
