WOW! This game is almost perfectly crafted from the bones of the first two games. The story is the best of the series (maybe not excellent but solid). The gameplay is also the best of the series due to it including improvements from Dying Light 2 while also improving on the gore and complexity of the gameplay systems. The open world is where this probably falls short of the first two games in a few ways. It is small, has a lot of empty space (forests, farmland, etc.), and it has a pretty limited town area. It is a well crafted and detailed map, but it does not offer as good of a parkour environment as the other two games. The main fault of Dying Light The Beast is its length. It honestly doesn't offer enough for a $60 purchase. I don't regret paying full price for this game, but I am a huge fan of the series. If you can wait to get it, I would wait for a 25-50% sale. I collected every item and did every achievement in only 52 hours. This game is a 9/10 for me. For context, I gave the other two games a 8.5/10.
