Fantastic relaxing game to play. Me and my kids both love this game. It's simplicity and ease of doing things adds a specific relaxing factor to it compared to other games similar. For me I am expessially happy it lacks mining in dungeons, now I understand that maybe some people will feel ripped off by not having such a thing. But I am happy to see this game taking a new spin on the genre as a whole rather than a pure copy paste clone of stardew valley. Not that its a bad thing, its just this game offered me something new that reignited the spark of passion I had for games of this genre. My kids play this game almost daily. If my kids like it, I like it.

The farming is very simplistic and easy, rather enjoyable compared to being tedious and a chore. Collecting things in the world is enjoyable. Interacting with the town, festivals, and events are so enjoyable compared to other titles. It almost makes the game feel alive and having a soul. Which I never got that feeling playing stardew valley personally or even really with other games of the genre. This game has its own soul and cute charm that makes it fantastic. I just wish it offered easier solutions for unlocking cooking recipes and maybe a bit more clothing customization options. Other than that I genuinely love this game even if the genre as a whole isn't particularly something for me often, but this game is one I can say is the gem out of the genre that I can declare I will sit down and play. Always fun to return to this amazing game.

First days when I started I couldn't stop thinking of how similar everything is in this game to stardew valley. Couldnt get over how similar the map is to stardew valleys, when not paying attention it almost is one on one the same, a bit larger in its own respects too. but everything is almost identically in the same locations. Now the cave is in the opposing corner. But now time to stop comparing my first moments into the game and me getting lost going back to the farm at the recycling center a few dozen times. The characters all seem to be completely unique and with much more depth and actually being able to hang out with some friends at the tavern at your choosing, hearts seems to not decay like in stardew valley or at the least the game balances it to stay level. Nothing about the characters feel artifically done to force you to gift and talk to them daily. hearts even progress just by you showing up to a fair or festival.

Now I didn't like the order of the progression with the shine offerings, I don't mind that fast travel is given to me early, but I much personally would of prefered to get the mid forest first before that. But that's just my personal preferance.

The mines are rinse and repeat but it always seems like the hole to go down to the next level is always nearby the entrance to that level of the cave. So i managed to speed run the 4 caverns with just a bronze pickaxe. Not that I mind, its just something im noting into the review.

The watering can charge up timers i personally feel could go a bit faster. as the bronze watering can vs me watering it one by one seem to be wasting my time charging it up vs just quickly watering it all one by one or not saving me any time at all. Now the silver one had a big improvement but the charge up time is something that bothers me.

The diving segment of the game seems like rinse and repeat, but I admit I have not engaged much in that area of the game yet at the time of this review.

There are a few bugs like how items are stuck on the ground visually and unable to be picked up, I encountered this to be an issue after I leave an item on the ground then sleep to the next day and save quit the game and start the game back up. So before exiting the game make sure there is nothing laying about the map or farm, or even in the caverns, or you will permanently have a item stuck in limbo that you cannot remove.(hopefully fixed in a future update)
