PICO PARK. Such a wonderful game. "How and why are there so many comments saying they want to die or that they lost their friends from such a peaceful and seemingly harmless game?" you may ask yourself. Well, I can tell you EXACTLY HOW! But first, jokes aside, I will say that I do recommend this game to anyone looking for some genuine fun.

First of all, this game has audio 200x louder than it needs to be. I've played long enough to have the sound of the game synced with my brainwaves. I can hear *beep beep beep beep boop* even after putting a bag over my head and tying it around my neck with a Zip Tie. On top of all that, the death sound became so repetitive and obnoxious that I wanted to throw my entire setup through the wall and never think about it again. (This WILL eventually happen to anyone who dares to play this game long enough to get to that point)

Next, I want to talk about the social aspect of this game. If you:

• Love your friends and family
  
• Have respect for your friends and family
  
• Enjoy the company of your friends and family
  
• Don't want to ruin a relationship with your friends and family

DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME WITH THEM! There is a limit for which a person can handle the presence of another, no matter the relationship. That limit will be found and will be tested. Your connection with whoever you are playing with will be taken, twisted, broken, chewed on, and spat out over and over again until it you decide to alt+f4 (which sounds more and more appealing as you play longer). You may not believe me currently, but look at any other comment as of now and they will literally prove my point.

Leading on to PICO PARK itself. I don't want to get into detail about the gameplay, as to not spoil any events of mental suffering and insanity-- which you will experience; however, I can tell you that it is truly not difficult. If I were comparing it to other puzzle and/or co-op games that I've played, I would consider this an absolute breeze. The level of thinking required to complete these levels is at or around that of an infant. The only thing that makes it hard is the stupidity and arrogance of your companions. You will get into heated scenarios and go from a stable, capable person, to a raging monster that was just released from an insane asylum. I will admit that there are some levels which require more analyzing and understanding than others, but as long as you are able to read this review, you will be able to make it through.

I want to talk about the health impact this game will have on you. If you are not currently struggling with anger issues, depression, bipolar disorder, or any other significant problems, you will after playing this game. If you are expecting to have a fun and happy time where you can relax with your friends and try beating the levels together, you are in the wrong place. If you are playing with 4+ people, there will be heaps of screaming, threatening, fighting, and confusion. Playing with less people will significantly decrease the risk for loss of will to live, however, it will also make the game much more laid-back and less stimulating. Unless of course you are playing with a few absolutely insane and irrational psychopaths, then I wish you the best of luck 👍. One especially common method of communication is yelling. This will most certainly be one of the most noticeable impacts the game will have on you. Your throat will hate you during, and for days after playing. To soothe it, you will want to rip out your vocal cords and replace them with cooked spaghetti noodles.

Finally, I want to address the graphics of the game. At first glance, I was extremely underwhelmed. I'm not sure what I was really expecting since obviously this isn't a AAA+ game. But as I played more, the graphics became the least of my worries. I would go as far as to say the simple graphics make the game feel even better when playing. Frame rate is not an issue that anyone will realistically have to worry about and the way the game is structured, there are no "stand-out" elements that would distract you from the focal point of the game. Get ready for some mouth-watering numbers if you try to enable a net-graph display. It's also pretty fun just to look at and admire the artwork(s).

PICO PARK is a genuinely fun game that will very quickly turn into an absolutely chaotic experience. The game is not too difficult to complete the levels, but it will feel impossible when you end up screaming at the top of your lungs, telling your friends they are "idiotic, fish-faced dinguses." The game doesn't look to appealing, yet it also doesn't take away from the gameplay itself. You may end up with broken relationships between friends and family members or you may end up trying to admit yourself into a psychiatric hospital. It will all be worth it though since you will have a great laugh and find out the limit to which your friends and family will continue to deal with you. I would highly recommend to anyone interested.
