ARC Raiders is the only game where I’ve been disrespected by Flying metal roombas more than by actual human players. These Clankers don’t just attack you,.. they show up like the IRS, uninvited, aggressive, and convinced you owe them a pound of flesh for daring to breathe the same air as them.

Combat is pure chaos. One minute I’m feeling like a skilled warrior, the next a Clanker three blocks away senses your fear and force feeds you extra ammo into your poor virgin body. These things fight like demon possessed scrap metal with unresolved childhood trauma. Some of them run, some of them fly, but ALL of them make that metallic screech that sounds like my mothers outdated windows vista PC when I open more than 1 chrome tab.

And traversal? It's Amazing. Half the time I forget what I’m doing and the other half I’m running for my life praying to the bungalators i get back to extract with the blueprint.
loot is hit or miss but when you get that one cool thing after an hour its the best feeling ever.

Playing with a squad is fun, mostly because watching your friends get launched into the stratosphere by a Clanker is peak comedy. Nothing brings a team together like collectively screaming, “WHERE THE F*** DID THAT ONE EVEN COME FROM?”

Visually, the game is gorgeous. Every explosion is directed by Michael Bay himself. Every landscape is stunning. And every Clanker looks like a Rumba prototype someone duct-taped together and called “combat ready.”

Is it perfect? No.
Does it have issues? Sure.
But does the act of drop-kicking a Clanker directly into the afterlife make up for everything? Absolutely.
