Who am I
I’m a freelance gaming journalist with a passion for reviewing and creating content across a wide variety of genres. I actively manage my own personal guides and communities, and always open to collaborating with more media outlets. I believe that meaningful conversations come from questions, so if you want to attract my attention, simply ask me a question, and I will react almost immediately if not in a few moments, unless I am busy / asleep.

Regarding Reviews
Want me to cover your game with a review or gameplay? You can reach me via Curator Connect or email me at TheYordleScout@gmail.com with the subject “Steam Reviews.”

Games
I’m flexible with the genres I approach but prefer to avoid titles overrun with younger audiences, such as Roblox, Fortnite, and Call of Duty, as I find the community environment less appealing. Otherwise, I’m open to exploring new experiences. Typically, I will spend a minimum of 2 hours with any game before forming my (first impressions) before putting it aside and evaluating it further at a later date unless I decide to drop it for negative reasons. This being everything from functionality, issues, and aesthetic. A great game may hook me far longer, however, I tend to eat through games rather quickly. Since most of the games that I end up picking up are short games lasting 3-5 hours, not like 60 hour RPGs.

Giveaways
I regularly give away thousands of dollars in giveaway copies from developers after reviewing and covering their games. To join my giveaways, follow my Steam curation and join my Steam group for updates. I believe in sharing the love for gaming!

I've never felt this overwhelmingly connected before
I've played a large list of Visual Novels over the years, some of which have emotionally crushed me, some of which have been quite well-written and have stayed with me to this day, but holy... I've never felt this conflicted with myself after playing through one of them. It's not depressing because it's sad... it's depressing because it's so overwhelmingly relatable. It's so real; it's so down to earth that it doesn't feel like a game or a visual novel, but rather like I'm staring at myself in a mirror with each and every one of the individuals you'll meet. I can't express how it moved me, because it's hard to put into words.

Like, all I want to do now is expose this game to everyone and get as many people as possible to try it for themselves, more than any other game I've played. The music, the visual design and direction, the emotions, the struggles. I'd like to stress that if you've recently experienced some trauma in your life especially with friends, family and any other situations, it wouldn't be a good idea for you to sit down and play through it, since I don't want to bring you any more suffering and it might even go as far as to make things you're going through right now and harder to heal.

The unfortunate thing is that I want so many other people to enjoy this game, but it's unlikely that they will because Visual Novels are typically deemed niche and undesirable to the average gamer. I'd want to stress that I am a general gamer. I participate in the majority of games that others do. I play Final Fantasy, Valorant, Apex, League of Legends, Action Roguelikes, Racing, and every other genre you can think of and I too prefer those other genres. I'm not very interested in Visual Novels because I have ADHD, which makes it difficult for me to focus when there isn't something to occupy my attention.

This could refer to the music being played, the characters and their relationship, story & twists, or voice acting. There has to be something for me to be able to latch onto, yet Until Then drew me in without even having to try. I did not have an option. I was glued to my seat for all 19.6 hours, which is how long this experience lasted, not 9 like many reviewers have posted at.

Conclusion
You are definitely getting your money's worth here. It's more than a reasonable fee for an experience you'll only have once in a lifetime. Even if you don't feel like playing this game at this very moment, just like the thousands of other games you have on your Steam Library, seriously. Please give it a chance, especially if you have friends that you know enjoy emotional experiences. I hope this developer succeeds with their creation so that we may see more stories from them.
