You know, if someone mentioned this game to me a month ago, I would have told them that I don't see myself getting invested in this game. I never understood the hype.

Now is the present (and over 60 hours in the game), and I completely understand why everyone loves this game so much. I have grown to absolutely adore the story line, art, the music of each chapter, the EVERYTHING! (Chapter 4 was definitely my personal favorite). A review of Deltarune honestly does not do it justice.... just play the game, you will become entrenched in the story in the first 15 minutes. The story is just.... awesome. Teary eyes are bound to happen.

Thanks to that one friend of mine that told me to finish Undertale after YEARS of postponing it. Would have not played Deltarune without them. :)

this game now lives rent free in my head and has burnt a massive hole in my wallet, thanks marketable plushies...

utilizing the black bars on the side is genuinely the most creative thing ive ever seen done. makes you wonder the implications since they built a custom emulator to run the 1997 version. how does the game know how to interact with the blank space, is there something else they aren't telling us about the emulator?

this game is a gem among ARGs, there is a lot to discover, even after you think you solved everything...

this game feels like an acid trip, especially when the orb casts a dream (heh) on you and you just completely get teleported to the pink knuckles(?) temple/dimension/fever dream. the mouth movements are immaculate (triple A games havent even gotten this right yet and this game was released in '98."

i really do enjoy it for all the 90s 3D jank that comes along with it. also the chao garden is awesome.

people give it crap, some of it rightfully deserved since DX is kinda poopy, use SADX for a more enjoyable experience.

stg my brain will go on autopilot and just do things, complete the chamber, and immediately go "what the hell did i do to complete this?"

also figured out one of the levels by quitting the game and contemplating how to do it in the shower.

awesome mod for portal 2

first game to make me cry for an ending, loved it.

there is just so much passion that was put into this game. from the graphics, audio, worlds, and characters, it all correlates into an amazing, emotional, and immersive experience (i absolutely adored the cyberpunk look.) I really did not expect this game to make me cry, but damn it made me cry multiple times at the end. This game is definitely getting some awards in my book.

i wish i bought this sooner....
