Is there a way to force it into 16:9?

I just got to Amy's final battle but when the cutscene is over, the game crashes and I cant fight the robot. Any ideas why?

my big the cat key achivement was broken (i was supposed to get it after tails ran into froggy and big after tikals flashback) so I cheated it in even though ik i didnt cheat and i did it fairly cause it was a bug i still feel like i cheated the game idk why...
