I used to enjoy this game when things were not as monetized as they are now. Unfortunately, there is a serious lack of innovation with the core game modes in all types of battles.

Air, Ground, and Naval do not allow for meaningful objective completion in multiplayer. Every map becomes a series of team deathmatches with maps that do not offer enough variety and balance for compelling gameplay. Worse still, actual progress to the end of a tree without the expenditure of money is incredibly time intensive and not worth it. Your vehicle will be impaired and less competitive without specific modifications, ammunition, and crew skills. Additionally, the development and fixes for non profitable content has also gone down. Gameplay content is locked behind time exclusives requiring 30 hours per week of gameplay at the most, unless you pay to get the tasks of course. There is AI generated imagery influencing the art direction for the game. I could go on more and more but essentially, my experience is this:

Nothing you interact with in this game will be free of monetization for progress and the interactions you have are not meaningful experiences. It's a linear grind with a pay for progress cheat code. It's really unfortunate as some of the technical details, actual game mechanics, and vehicles can be fun. But at the end of every match, you will be pushed into the monetization system of the game again, it's an ever pervasive issue with the game that the developers have little care to fix. I urge you to not play this game!
