Its fun, better with a mic though since it makes communication and negotiation easier

If You Are Thinking About Getting This Game, Do It

I have to say, when I stumbled upon this game in the store I was only truly captivated by the animation for one of the trailers and the sheer idea of parkour and guns. But, when I got the game and played through it, I was in shock about how much initial play value there is and how much replay value there is.

Story: 7/10
My Friend Pedro overall has a pretty basic story, although fun to go through and interesting I feel as though it could have been expanded on in some sectors such as the ending or maybe in the three boss fights you go through in the game. However, even with all of this it still has a wonderful and very entertaining story with one of the best reveals I've ever seen since FNAF Sister Location's purple eyes.

Gameplay: 9.95/10
Although the game has a short runtime, it truly does live by the saying short and sweet. Here, the combat is one of the most polished I've ever seen and the Focus mechanic really helps people like me aim for just a split second before putting a 9mm round between some poor bastard's eyes. With that, the movement and parkour in this game is absolutely phenomenal, the ability to just flawlessly chain together movements to glide through sections while dispatching opponents is one of the most fun things I've ever done in a game. With all of this said though, there is one small issue keeping it from a perfect 10/10, it's when you try and jump and will sometimes end up rolling and thus unable shoot leaving you vulnerable. Although a small issue, when it comes up it's a source of frustration, but even with that the movement here is first class and personally I would love to see a first person view implemented in some kind of update.

Replay Value: 10/10
This game has some of the most replay value ever, with it's hidden stash of collectibles, fun achievements, and near infinite skill ceiling, there will always be a reason to load this game up at any time of the day. One of the most captivating things for this game would be how mastery of it's mechanics work, the way I would put it is, 1 play through for understanding, 2 for improvement, and 3 for mastery. With that though you wouldn't want to use any collectibles that affect gameplay other than in looks such as the cinematic camera, and as a bit of a reach big head mode.

Music: 10/10
The music in this game, much like every other Devolver Digital game, is absolutely fantastic. This game has such an amazing OST that you could load it onto a CD, put it into your car, and just sit and enjoy it while driving to whereever you need to. Although it's truly difficult to put into words how amazing it is, the music for My Friend Pedro is something you simply need to experience.

Overall: 10/10
This game, is absolutely fantastic. If you can get it for free, don't, you truly need to show Devolver some love for this great game of theirs. As well, I am going to be checking out their two other games, Katana Zero and Ape Out. In the end, I loved this game, and I'm sure you will too.

I love this game, thank you to Sirhaian for making this. I have friends who suffered from the sorts of things the game shows and conveys. I enjoyed playing even though it scared me at times. Keep up the good work Sirhaian.

I really like this game even as a bit of a coward. I'm not gonna lie when I first got it and loaded it up the main menu scared me, it was just the mix between the music and the frog being just unsettling enough to scare me. After playing a bit I can say that if this is the standard for the rest of this game, then keep up the amazingly terrifying work.
