Rose Winters is the strongest Character in Resident Evil.
I understand why the Shadows of rose DLC is mixed, since it's branching out with "superhuman powers", but I think it was really done well!
With other in-game characters getting old, she honestly could be the future or one of the mainline characters of this series if they decide to go down that route.
I want to see more of her. I just worry about her character development and what the gameplay will be like with how powerful and unique she is.

And arguably one of the best gaming Dad/Husband Characters!
What makes this game, so fun is the atmosphere, the castle, the horror and the different takes on enemies. It's not just zombies anymore. In this game, you will see a combination of werewolves and vampire-like creatures. This game has memorable characters Lady Dimitrescu, Mother Miranda, Ethan, Rose, Chris, and Heisenberg to name a few.
There is a very action-heavy segment near the end of the game that will make OG fans love it even more.
This game sets up the future perfectly for the RE franchise depending on which way they end up going with certain characters!

This Resident Evil is more action-heavy over horror, which is a complaint for me. The story also starts off slowly but does pick up over time with a good lengthy campaign and has decent DLC, which is awesome, I will say.
Again, I prefer the horror side more to RE, but what this game does very well is the intense combat situations you are constantly put in!
RE4 probably offers the most replay value as well. I can easily see why this is people's favorite RE game.

RE3 Remake starts off very strong, and I was starting to doubt the mixed reviews/hate It got over the years, especially considering the 1st hour or so of gameplay, Nemesis scares the ♥♥♥♥ out of you several different times, but after that, it turned into an average, very short game which is disappointing. I'm glad I got this at a huge sale. It's not worth its full price.

This game was a return to form for the Resident Evil genre after a good number of fans were divided on 5/6. That being said, this game was fun from start to finish. There are no annoying parts, lots of horror, a very generous amount of DLC and a great soundtrack.
Ethan Winters, Chris Redfield and Joe Baker were my favorite parts of this game.

It's like a spiritual successor to RE4.
Didn't really care for the story or characters, the gameplay is alright, and the horror is decent.

Movie-like game with so many different options, paths and no "canon", so everyone's play through will be different!
My first play through is my canon, and the ending allows you to show screenshots of the decisions you made, which I really like!

I didn't know what to expect out of this game, but I was amazed we need more games like this.
