The thing a lot of people can't seem to grasp is that the incest stuff actually serves the story. Ashley is an abusive manipulative piece of ♥♥♥♥ who suffers from a psychotic co-dependence on her brother, so it's the natural end point of their relationship for her to try to fulfill all of Andrew's needs in order to keep him around when he chooses to side with her in the story instead of trying to escape that abusive relationship. The game doesn't portray it as a positive thing. Both characters are disgusted by it and it's clearly not something that either of them (moreso Andrew) wants to happen.
I love horror and I love psychological horror, and because of that I absolutely loved how uncomfortable the plot made me feel. I do not enjoy where the story is going for these characters, and that's exactly why I can't look away. Twitter really needs to learn that portrayal =/= approval.
Game also has an amazing artstyle and really good music. Huge thumbs up, highly recommend.

I'm not a huge fan of party games to begin with. I've never played Mario Party, I only occasionally watch YouTube videos party games, I'm overall not really into the genre. But, from what I do know, I can tell you that this game is not like those other ones. Some people might think that's a good thing, but in my opinion, this game switches up the formula in every way that the formula should not be switched; mainly, RNG.

The only thing that prevents games like Mario Party from being completely luck-based is the minigames. Most of the minigames in other party games require some level of skill, and the player with the most skill is often rewarded the most for their performance. 100% Orange Juice has no minigames, unless you count the battle system, which I do not. Nearly every aspect of a match is dictated by a random dice roll. The only thing that is not decided by this system is when you decide to use a card you have in your hand. But even then, the only way to get more cards if you run out is to hope that you land on a space that gives you another RANDOM one. There is absolutely no way to guarantee that an experienced player will do any better than a new player who has just started the game. There is no room for skill-based rewards, because skill is irrelevant when the entire match is dictated by RNG and nothing else. And, worst of all, this means that there is virtually no skill ceiling for players, meaning that once that initial spark of "hey, this game is pretty cool, i think ill try it out lol" has disappeared there is nothing left to keep players interested. There is no desire to improve, because beyond expanding your card deck and unlocking cosmetics, there is no room for improvement in a game that is controlled entirely by random chance.

I am very disappointed that I was gifted this game by a friend, because of the simple fact that I cannot refund it, and therefore it is going to sit here in my Steam account untouched for a VERY long time.

plenty of Twitch.tv streamers who play this so you'll never get bored from a lack of players, and those streamers usually have free keys they can give you. also you get to verbally destroy said streamers so what's not to love?!
