A wonderful love letter to old-school Metal Gear in its gameplay, the story serves as a parody of the same series.
It's a solidly crafted little game and I whole-heartedly recommend playing this story within a story within a hallucination within a flashback.

Early Access Review
Of course I recommend it. It may not yet be considered finished, but it's nevertheless a beautiful update of the original.

Hail, friend. Arstotzka welcomes you!

This short film manages to perfectly capture the feeling that 'Papers, Please' itself creates. That feeling is one of oppressive melancholy and helplessness in a bureaucratic and broken system. Frankly, if given the same level of treatment, I have no doubt that a full length film for this IP would be Oscar worthy, for what that's worth.
And even if you've not yet had the "pleasure" of playing 'Papers, Please', this is free. Give it a watch.

Glory to Arstotzka!

Look, it doesn't matter what the general quality of this product is*, no one should be buying this game from Steam.

This particular version of Fallout 3 is not optimized for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10. This means that to play this version of the game, one needs to mess around with Games For Windows Live, mods, or game files. Completely unacceptable.

*Fallout 3 is an alright game. Fallout New Vegas is its obvious superior, but 3 is not without its charm and general enjoyment however. If you liked New Vegas, this is a noticeable step down, but there's likely enough of America's Wasteland here with which you can scratch that Fallout itch. If you've not played New Vegas, just play that instead.

Also, for some reason 3 doesn't have iron sights. Annoying.

There's not much that I can point to and declare it to be bad here. Wolfenstein: The New Order is a masterful return to a classic series, and a compelling look into an alternate 1960's, in which the Nazis conquered the world.

The gunplay is arcady and intuitive, with the feedback (from the sounds to the Nazis that explode from your bullets) is incredible. So long as one can suspend their disbelief as they would for a pulp scifi novel, one will enjoy the story as well.

This is about as balls to the wall as it gets without being DOOM.

Generally when someone says "More of the same", they mean it as a bad thing. Here, however it is not. TOB is an enjoyable expand-alone that hearkens back to the older Wolfy games that TNO was a departure from. It can be a bit clunky mechanically, and some of the plot points are cliched as all get out, but it can also be buttery smooth or incredibly clever.

For any who wanted more classic Wolfenstein, or even just more from NTO, I would recommend giving this a go.

When freedom is threatened anywhere in the world, the BROFORCE (an elite squadron of 80's and 90's action heroes) is called in to kill the terrorists, destroy every inch of the local landscape, flex, and p*ss on Satan's grave.

GO GO GO!

Tough, but fair. Halloween Forever is a fun little game inspired by the classics of yesteryear, right down to some of the mechanics having no explanation beyond "it's a video game".
Not my cup of tea, but a good game.
