Sandfall Interactive crafted a masterpiece.

I'm sure this isn't the first, nor last time you will hear this. This game is simply one of the best games I had the pleasure of experiencing.
The story is absolutely mindblowing. No idea how someone came up with this, but it's brilliant. I won't talk about it here to not ruin the experience for anyone, but simply go play it. The story alone is 100% worth it. I love Witcher 3 and comparing anything to it is strictly forbidden, but this time I will make an exception. Those 2 games have comparable 10/10 perfect stories.
World design and graphics are stunning. I almost never stop in a game just to look at my surroundings, but this is the first game I did. Every location is crafted to perfection. Another easy 10/10.
Music composer also cooked. I do not understand a word in french, but even the french songs were perfect fit into the game.. What can I say, 10/10 again!
Characters are alive, they have interesting personalities and if you do their relationship quest you can learn their deepest, darkest secrets. All of the characters grew to my heart and will be remembered forever.
I was a bit skeptical about turn-based combat, since I dislike games with this combat style, but once again this was a perfect fit. Combat feels alive and challenging even turn-based. Every single combat encounter is yet again accompanied by great music.

I will also list some negatives, but that doesn't change the fact that I absolutely love this game.
First of all - Simon. The fight just doesn't fit this game. It's not about the tankiness, more about the mechanics (erasion). Once again I won't go into much detail to not spoil anything, but those who played understand what I mean; especially tough since I only played 3 characters.
Second; locations should have recommended levels. I visited many locations very very underleveled, so I started clearing the majority around level 70. In some of them I was still underleveled, in some of them I oneshotted everything with basic attacks including the bosses. Would be really nice if we knew when to approximately go into a location.
Last thing, collectibles not carrying over to NG+. I almost got screwed with music disks, since I missed a missable one. Fortunately, you can pick up one of the other discs twice, which saved me.

Generally about collectibles, they are very fun to collect. Every single journal is interesting and deepens your interest in the story, which is the perfect way to make collectibles not annoying.

This game has to be 2025 GOTY.
