I waited for a sale because this game from 2004 is $107 (CAD).

If you enjoyed the original, 3DS, or HD edition and want to play MGS3 with those pachinko machine graphics, modernized controls, and a few fun bonus camos- this is exactly that and not much else. If you already know Snake Eater well, you’re not going to get much more from this.
They didn’t re-record dialogue or utilize their “Made for this exact kind of thing” FOX Engine.

While I had a lot of fun with this, MGS3: Subsistence is just as good of a version, and much more affordable/attainable.

Also if you’re interested in the new FOX HUNT multiplayer mode, I’ve not found anyone else playing it at all.
I could be wrong, but from my experience so far it seems to be dead already.

If this is on a good 50% off sale (what it should actually cost), and you have a computer that can run anything, then this is great.

Note: I played this on a Steam Deck with an optimization mod and it ran fine.

Laura moves at a snails pace, and by the time you get used to it, the time limit that you didn’t know was there has already run out.

This game expects a lot of trial and error. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who has the patience.

The best co-op in this series since Goof Troop (SNES, 1993).

Silent Hill ƒ continues to impress me. NG+ is very respectful to the player’s time. Even warning you when you’re about to skip cutscenes not seen in your initial run.
I couldn’t have played this at all without Steam Deck support. Was a bit skeptical about this at first, as I still have no means of playing the Silent Hill 2: Remake. Which I hear good things about.
Look forward to see what’s in store for this series moving forward.

Been looking forward to this game since it was announced as a horror collaboration between Suda51 and Swery65. Lost all motivation to continue this after the way-too-late disclosure of AI generated content. I wouldn’t have even have taken the code had I known about this. They plan to remove the discovered asbestos in a future update but how much of the asbestos wasn’t discovered?

Bizarre ending.

I’ve never received motion sickness from a non-VR game before.

A really great time, once you get past needing third party software to set up the controller. Co-op is a welcome feature.

Also, TIR has been dead since release. The game could really use bots and more matchmaking options but it doesn’t look like Capcom’s gonna touch this game again.

The best RoboCop game, and possibly the best RoboCop sequel.
