The game on launch day was very stable, but I can not for the life of me recommend this absolute mess of performance issues to newer players. I will note that there has been attempts to improve said performance, but with Arrowhead adding in new content and messing up existing work simply undid what little stability the game had, most alarmingly was the decision to integrate nProtect GameGuard, which to my knowledge had not only failed to stop cheaters, but has been contributing to the instability the game has been suffering ever since Into the Unjust (maybe as early as Heart of Democracy). All I can say is, save your money on other games, at least until AH decides to catch up on the technical debt or completely overhaul the game itself.
