This game was made in 2016, 9 years ago, and I bought this game on a whim, no prior recommendations, blind playthrough, zero media consumption other than the trailer. I just beat the game in a single 5.2 hour sitting and I'm immediately writing this review With tens of thousands of hours of gaming, Titan fall 2 is hands down the most fun I’ve ever had in a video game.

There’s a whole level where you’re fighting on a moving assembly line that’s literally building houses around you while enemies are shooting from every direction absolutely brilliant.

There's a parallel world mechanic on button press that allows you to fight in two different timelines at once.
Not to mention the art in this game is just b-e-a-utiful, absolutely well done.

Hard mode is hard but not hard enough to make you bash a screen in?
Collectables are just collectables, there's no reward other than personal achievement?
This game was made 9 years ago I wish more developers were like this.

And I only have one real complaint: The EA corporate slop launcher.

Ubisoft absolutely shouldn't force a launcher on a steam platform. I can't even create an account because Im locked out from all the obscure names I usually pick being taken. I'm sure it's a great game but I can't even play.
