Visually stunning, visceral gameplay and a fantastic story with incredible missions. Space Marine 2 absolutely delivers and is my GOTY for 2024. An excellent blend of gun play and melee combat with a wicked parrying system that only improves as you upgrade your melee weapons. I've had so many amazing moments with my battle brothers in Operations mode and surprisingly, the online PVP is a ton of fun as well. If you have a decent squad it's a really good time. My only nitpick is the content is slightly lacking after you've completed the Operations a number of times and fully upgrade your collection of Astartes but it's good to know that Saber intends on supporting this game for years to come, already dropping consistent updates. I know the games servers had a bit of a rocky start but everything has been fine tuned and optimized, even friends who couldn't connect at all can play just fine now. I can't say much else about this game except that I've loved every minute of it. I'd gladly continue to play this game again and again with friends.

Nothing is more exhilarating than the hunt. This is one of those games that's accessible to newcomers but has a steep learning curve. I am a tried and true hammer bro but I took it upon myself to learn the charge blade and it took me a long time to master it but now I've hunted with it more than my hammer. There's something extremely satisfying about that moment where you zen out, start doing massive combos for that big DMG. Getting your positioning down and just absolutely wrecking is such an adrenaline rush. It doesn't hurt matters that this game is beautiful.

Updating this review at over 300 hours, Monster Hunter World and the Iceborne expansion are easily in my top 3 games of all time. I don't think I'll ever quit playing Monster Hunter World.
