classic masterpiece

Drastically different from the first game as it leans super hard into the action but does so brilliantly.
The game is just super fun from start to finish with a great variety of weapons and enemies. The setting is awesome and I honestly really love and appreciate the atmosphere and tone of the game.
Absolute classic just like its predecessor.

Combat can get a little rough on higher difficulties but apart from that this game is perfection.

I love this game. It's become, without a doubt, my favorite non-FromSoftware soulslike game.

The combat, bosses, environments, story, build variety and level design is all insanely good and fun.
Especially the level design part is very important imo, as that can go a long way especially for replayability.

The bosses are truly badass and are some of the coolest I've seen.

I do have one criticism and that is the censorship that came with patch 1.5.
Afaik this was done in reaction to the criticism from Chinese people regarding the game's story and characters, which is a shame because the developers aren't at fault for that. But that censorship drastically changes certain parts in the game and especially the story for the worse.
It did bring some nice QoL changes tho.

All in all, as someone who loves the setting this game has, this game is an absolute blast and I loved every single second of it.
I really hope the developers will keep making games like this as they have proven to me that they are more than capable of making a great ARPG.
