Name another game that was showing so much promise before release that western devs incapable of throwing together a full experience felt the need to prematurely poopoo gamers for their raised standards upon experiencing the majesty that is on display here. a game so full of meaningful choice and consequence spanning triple the playtime over a world far larger than any "modern gaming" developer would even dream of.

This game is an utter triumph. A masterstroke of passion in a world where games are made to meet a bottom line alone. Overwhelmingly positive is not enough to encapsulate my feelings for this game and for Larian. this game makes me hopeful for the future of games, hoping devs strive to achieve a feat this monumental instead of continuing to complain that theyre not good enough.

My recommendation is glowing to all. if youve never played a CRPG before, start with this one. if youve wanted to get into D&D but never had the means to do so, you do now. hell if youve never played a video game before and you want to start on the right foot, start here, it doesnt get much better than this.
