it took about half a year to chip away at the 100% but I would say it was decent. It's very imbalanced and some of the abilities are just crap. Some bosses are the worst ones I've ever seen in video games. AI randomly breaks with some enemies just snapping out of CC or speeding up/skipping their attack animations. Trap & enemy placement can be straight up annoying. The equipment system is simplistic and kinda boring RNG.
But if you're looking for a classic style town hub + dungeon floors, this is an okay pick.
For $9 or less, sure.

This game looks fine, I wonder why it's on sale for 89 cents.....
Try to play main story, nonstop trauma dump about parents & corporate le bad.
Try to do sidequests, buff dude wants an engagement ring for his boyfriend.
Try to do time trial challenges, "Guys, gals, and nonbinary pals!"

If you enjoy the pain of ♥♥♥♥ games then this is a solid recommend. But if you're a normal person looking for a quick good indie, this one is inexcusable to the point I can't even give it a joke positive review. Everything from the graphics to the gameplay is far below half-assed and some stuff is down right broken. It looks like and probably is an asset flip where nothing blends well. Best way I can describe it: Looks like a VRChat Unity game.
Extremely easy infinite jumping, RNG collectables, excessively inaccurate attacks, random instadeaths, most unengaging basic combat/movement. You can just walk out of bounds in several areas.
The dev's solution to everything? Instead of basic polish, slap achievements on the jank and call it features.
When the achievements don't work? Make throwaway save files to reset progress and give people teleporting cheat hotkeys on steam discussions.
This is abandonware and I wouldn't have bought it at all if it weren't for yet another psyop /v/ hidden gem thread.
The only positives I can give this is that it's easy and the ending is kind of funny. But other than that do not buy unless it's -75% or more.

For $25 absolutely not. But if you can get it for around $10 or in a humble/fanatical bundle, sure.
The graphics are the highlight on the surface, but the animations and cutscenes are rather low quality so it very quickly loses its magic.
Combat is serviceable though very repetitive restricted to 2D areas.
Exploration I'd say is below average. Overused boring hacking minigame, constantly tapping scan to see which copy paste container is lootable, 2D jumping segments not very fluid, sometimes you just can't grab ledges for some reason.
But I can look past all that. What really weighs this one down is the cringe dialogue and story. There's so much of it and none of it is really interesting. 70% story, 30% fighting.
Easy no missables 100% though.

All the arcade games are much worse buggy ripoffs of classics. Additionally, alerts and your watch are constantly popping up on screen blocking your view.
The upgrade currency is locked behind daily challenges that are also buggy or unobtainable in your current gamestate.
Every chore mechanic is excessively obnoxious just to urge you to farm upgrades in order to negate them.
I accidentally got extremely good leaderboard placements in nearly every game in just a few tries because everyone else gave up immediately. I'm #8 in the pacman ripoff, #11 in the crap racing game. As well as plenty other #20s,30s,40s, and a #80.
I have to assume the target audience is single mothers or something.
$20 base price on steam PLUS dlc tip is absolutely diabolical.
Take it from me, there's a reason this game is constantly filler in key bundles. If you redeemed a key probably don't even bother with this one.

Definitely an improvement over the previous titles. They removed the puzzles allowing the story to be broken up less. Also the structure of the story is better here. However there's still the comic relief that completely resets the momentum. Sometimes that a good thing, other times it is bad.
But once again, 95-96% review score with a $10 base price? LMFAO no.
More like a generous 80% and $2.
Negative review just to do my miniscule part in reducing it to a realistic margin.

Some douchenozzle brokie was ♥♥♥♥ posting on my negative Maneater review claiming my pc was bad for complaining about awful performance. So obviously I gangstalked his own reviews and saw him crying about not being able to run this game. I booted it up myself and it runs perfectly fine maxed out at 144fps.
Also the game is actually really good so big ups to that poor giving me the push I needed to play another banger in my backlog.

Fun arcadey game that I wish I could genuinely give a positive review. BUT the optimization is unacceptable and it really sucks the enjoyment out of it.
Constant crashing, freezing, and stuttering (i.e 100x worse than 7 Days To Die). All the suggested fixes only minimized the crashes.
Why isn't Tripwire Interactive labeled as a cyber terrorist organization yet? They sabotage every game they publish. Even their flagship series is going down the drain with KF3.
The developer "Blindside Interactive" consist of Tripwire employees and the game was last updated Dec 2021 with radio silence since. So this is effectively abandonware that will never be patched.

Compared to High On Life it's 50/50.
Some of the humor is better and some of it is worse.
There's so much extra dialogue here if you just stand around and let every npc ramble it's actually kinda amazing that they sat there and recorded it all even as a joke.
I really enjoyed it compared to some of the other crap I've been playing recently. It's a shame Justin Roiland got harassed out of the industry.

You guys are such glazers man nah nah nah that was the most lukewarm story I've ever done sat through.
One of the top games when I sort my library by steam review score you gremlins need to get real.
Just a RPGmaker walking simulator with random barebone "puzzles" breaking up the dialogue for the first 2/3rd of the game.
The music was pretty good until I heard each track for the 50th time while working my way through the text walls.
I couldn't care less about the old dude croaking but admittedly I am a bit invested in the main characters knowing there's 2 sequels.
But reviews at 96% come on now
