I receieved a key for this review from the developer.

After putting some time into PostWorld, I have to say that I see a good bit of potential with this game; it simply depends if that potential is fully realized. The game blends together games like 7 Days to Die, Mount & Blade, and the STALKER Call of Chernobyl mod. The game drops you into the world with a short tutorial, granted it isn't portrayed in the easiest way. I was getting attacked all of a sudden once I spawned in and had no idea why or what to even do initially. Once I got past the tutorial and out into the world, I was hit with a map that reminded me of how Mount & Blade's campaign map works. It allowed to me travela round and interact with both settlements and AI out in the wasteland.

Mechanically, the game feels good. The gunplay probably being one of the weaker elements as the guns don't feel like they have much of an impact at all. There is a skill system you can specilize into as you level your character and even the ability to repalce limbs with cybernetic augmentations; something that initially grasped my interest for the game. I really would like to see some form of character customization implemented as far as the actual looks of the character.

Now, the weakest point of the game is currently the translations. They're passable but hopefully far from, finished. There seemed to be words made up and placed in locations that made little sense in the dialogue between characters. I was able to generally understand the idea of what the character was saying but it became interesting at some points where I just kind of had to guess what option I wanted for this mystery task.

All in all, this game is an interesting mix of 7 Days to Die, Mount 7 Blade, and the STALKER Call of Chernobyl mod. The game seems to be in ane arly state so I'm personally surprised they didn't take the STEAM Early Access route with this game. There is a lot of potential here and it feels slightly realized but I do hope the developer can fully realize that potential and refine this game into something great.

Early Access Review
I was offered a key for this game to review it through the STEAM Curator Program.

I won't lie, initially I was hesitant about even accepting the key for a game like this as I personally hadn't seen much of a point to 'aim trainers' when you can otherwise just play the game you're hoping to get better at.

After putting almost an hour into this game, I firmly believe I can offer an honest review on what the title has to offer. There are a good number of guns in the game, each offering a unique recoil and play style; though I'll admit the sniper rifles are at an odd angle and make for uncomfortable gameplay.

The AI in the game is alright but nothing special. They were often clumped up together in a building with their abcks turned to me. This wasn't the case every time though. There were more than enough cases where I was getting charged by a handful of AI but their aim wasn't great. I couldn't say it really simulated a mid tier player but maybe an entirely new player the FPS genre?

Overall, the game isn't bad and it does do what it aims to, help you improve your aim even though I couldn't say the recoil is comparable to other shooters. I suppose you'd better your reaction timing with a game like this but even then, the AI would need improvements across the board.

Phantom Doctrine seems to take a lot of inspiration from the XCOM series, and that isn't a bad thing.

Phantom Doctrine has the shell of what you'd expect from a XCOM title. You have your base management, agent management and customization, as-well as base upgrades and a story that will pull you in; so long as you actually pay attention. All of the game's mechanics feel well thought out and enjoyable, they all seem to mesh very well together.

Phantom Doctrine takes place during the peak of the Cold War. If you've ever watched the FX series, 'The Americans', the game plays out like multiple seasons of that show. You are able to choose between being a CIA agent or a KGB agent at the beginning of the game; even a third option becoming available once a playthrough is completed of either the CIA or KGB, referred to as the 'extended mode'.

I know I keep referencing back to XCOM but this game feels like it's part of that series, just under an entirely new IP. It doesn't give a same-y sort of feeling that you'd think of happening with similar games in this genre. Each mission where I was going in to take out enemy agents or secure intel kept me on my toes in the best ways possible. The map design and combat tactics feel fluent, thought out, and well polished.

All in all, if you enjoyed the XCOM series, I would definitely recommend this game to you. If you haven't played any of the XCOM titles but enjoy the setting of the game as-well as the tactical RPG elements of the genre, I'd say this game is definitely worth picking up.

A great game if you're looking for the singleplayer experience but far from it if you're only here for the multiplayer.

Grand Theft Auto V was, and still is a phenomenal game with an awesome story and interesting mechanics in game. The singleplayer experience is as good as you'd expect from a GTA game. The characters are all different levels of crazy and it lends itself to the story and how engrossing it really can be. When I first got the game at launch, I sat through a full twenty four hour playgroup of jus the campaign without realizing how long I had been sitting there. The character customization is pretty good and vehicle customization is good too; both leave a little to desire if you remember the days of San Andrea.

Now, the part of the game I cannot recommend and figure most people buy the game for at this point. Grand Theft Auto Online, at launch, was really good, though the server stability was far from it. Items and vehicles that were obtainable all felt realistic and the environment they seemed to be building was one that would root itself in a good bit of realistic content with the obvious GTA spin on things. It remained this way for a few months but quickly became overrun with insane vehicles that could kill everyone on the server and really just ruin the freeroam gameplay for a majority of players. It's almost impossible to play in a freeroam without being constantly hunted down and personally, that's just not what I look for or enjoy in a game like this.

I really wish there was an option besides recommend or not recommend because I'm truly torn on this game. I suppose, overall I'd recommend the game but only if you're looking to enjoy singleplayer and mods. If you're looking to play only multiplayer, I cannot recommend this game.

I used Action! as my starting software to launch my hobby of livestreaming to Twitch.

I put a good amount of time into using Action!, and while it got the job done at the beginning, it really lagged behind the competition once I needed to get more hands on with my overlays and alerts. Action! offers a fairly user friendly drag and drop sort of overlay setup for your streams but drops the ball on just about everything else when compared to other programs, especially free ones as Streamlabs OBS.

If you're just starting out and not looking for anything too in depth to get you up and streaming, Action! is a good buy, if you're not looking to use Streamlabs OBS or similar free software. I personally switched to Streamlabs OBS and haven't looks back since; I'd honestly recommend using other software if you wants in depth control over your streams.

I'd initial started with Euro Truck Simulator 2, as a joke buy. I ended up finding out the genre is amazing.

American Truck Simulator, much like it's Euro Truck Simulator predecessor, is a great addition to big rig simulation and hauling around the country. The amount of love put into each of the trucks you can purchase is honestly awesome, with a huge added layer of customization to both the exterior and interior of the trucks. You really can tailor a truck perfectly to your needs and likes both visually and mechanically.

The map of American Truck Simulator isn't the highest tier graphically but there's still more than enough times I'm absolutely mesmerized by the skyline as the sun sets or rises during a long haul. The AI has progressively gotten better from patch to patch as-well, usually acting fairly realistic. There's nothing worse than being cut off by a speeding car for them just to slam on their brakes and cause you to slam on yours; while a pain, and maybe not intentional by the developers, it adds a nice layer to the overall gameplay and keeps you paying attention. Another things that keeps your eyes on the road is their dynamic events system, spawning in construction, broken down vehicles, or pulled over vehicles on the roads.

Overall, I'd recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the Euro Truck Simulator games or any other big rig simulation games. It's a game you can relax and sink hours into, truly losing track of times while driving around the map, delivering a wide range of hauls to several different business types.

A great team based shooter though an odd addition to the Rainbow Six franchise.

From the beginning, I thought Siege played in a way that it should have started its own IP; though I understand why they made it part of the Rainbow Six series, allowing a wider audience to it right away. The reason I say the game is an odd addition to the Rainbow Six franchise is that the overall gameplay we've known for all of the games prior was entirely turned on its head for this title. Gone are the days of full operator customization and endless loadout options for you to piece together part by part; in with the days of 'hero' operators with rigid class structure and designs.

I don't mind the operator changes from prior titles to this one, it's just a bit of a culture shock for a lot of us Rainbow Six veterans. It allows for, usually, balance and fun gameplay. The gunplay is very tight and feels enjoyable, same with the overall locomotion of the operators in game.

A lot of your enjoyment with this game will be based on the community and which portions of it you end up interacting with. When you find a good team, I'd recommend trying to stick with them as there is a healthy portion of the community that's toxic; granted, that can be said for any competitive shooter at this point.

Overall, the game is a really good time and I look forward to playing it for operations to come. The gunplay is great and the balance of operators and their abilities is usually fairly even across the board. If you're looking for a quality competitive small team based shooter, this is the game for you.

I've been playing and enjoying the ARMA series for years now. ARMA 3 is a great edition to a fine line of military simulation games.

ARMA is really in a class of its own as there isn't another game that comes to mind that offers this level of military simulation, moddability, and enjoyable gameplay. While there are similar games, such as SQUAD, they don't scratch the same itch by any means. ARMA offers great CO-OP gameplay while SQUAD offers, what I'd consider better PVP gameplay.

If you're looking to play with a community of like-minded individuals, I'd generally say the ARMA community tends to be that community for you; mainly made up of people who look to emulate several branches of military from numerous nations, looking to offer tactical and enjoyable gameplay. If you're looking for truly in depth gameplay, I'd have to recommend going out and finding a military simulation unit that fits your interests and needs.

The game can be rather clunky at times, the gunplay feeling 'off' on occasion though you'll learn to adapt to it because the game overall makes up for any downfalls it may offer. You can come across everything from infantry based combat to armor and air combat mixed into it all; creating a really interactive experience for everyone when done right.

I mention, when done right, for a huge reason. The ARMA community has taken,w hat I see, as a nosedive in the past few years. ARMA 2 being the real golden age of this game series. A community once full of bustling milsim or military simulation units, has now fallen to mainly Altis life servers or groups ran by children. If you can find the right community for you, you'll have endless amounts of fun but, finding that community can be a daunting task.

Overall, I'd recommend the game to anyone looking for an in depth combat simulation game, so long as you understand that you may need to put a few hours into simply finding the right group for you.

I honestly feel that this is the best battle royale style game on the market. While their questionable decisions with the season pass situation and the issue with servers and hackers at times can be pretty rough, the game as a whole is really enjoyable.

When it comes to battle royale games on the market currently, most seem to be rather cartoony or very far from any realism, to a level where I can't really enjoy the game. PUBG seems to find that good place in the middle for me. While it isn't full on simulation, the gunplay and overall fluidity of the game is top notch. The gunplay is tight and actually changes from weapon to weapon, unlike many other games out there.

The character customization is a nice plus too; I like the fact that we get to do, what I like to call, 'play Barbie' before loading into a match to stomp some people. There is a nice variety of clothing to choose from and with them partnering with twitch to have Twitch crates, our options are getting even better. We even get to choose weapon and parachute skins and while many people don't see this as an added selling point, I personally do.

Overall, the game is a good time, especially if you have a group of friends to play with regularly. I'd recommend the game to anyone in search of fun battle royale gameplay with intuitive mechanics to really keep you on your toes.

Early Access Review
EDIT: Here's a link to my stream on the launch day of Ground Branch for gameplay reference. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297431210

Let me start this review off by stating that some of my fondest gaming memories were on Rainbow Six: Vegas & Vegas 2; I spent countless hours playing both the Terrorist Hunt and the PvP modes. I've included a brief TLDR at the bottom of the post.

This game scratches an itch that I honestly wasn't aware I even had. It hits this great spot of fun gunplay, decent enough character customization, and enjoyable game modes. The Terrorist Hunt mode is pretty fun; the AI is pretty smart and while they have shot through walls a few times on me, they're usually a good balance of fun and challenging for the most part. When it comes to the PvP modes, it adds an entirely new layer of enjoyment to the game for me. Being able to work with twelve people on my team against another twelve that are well organized is such a great time. The game really takes me back to the days of playing Rainbow SIx: Vegas with my friends and I absolutely love that.

The community of the game is honestly another selling point all in itself for me. Most people are extremely helpful, even though we're all fairly lost at the moment, still learning the basics and tricks of the game. I can't say I've seen a game in the past few years toss you into a team with over a handful of others and the group just sort of meshes and flows well; actually communicating and using tactics to clear the maps and take out the opfor. Plus, a good majority of people I've played with and spoken to seem to be in their twenties, so lobbies are fare from flooded with a bunch of little kids screaming and shouting.

All in all, I'd definitely recommend this game. I know I didn't go into detail in this review but I feel only a video review would do the game justice in detail. The gunplay is enjoyable and tight. There is an intuitive gun building system and you can even customize attachments of your helmets and vests. I've seen some people with some very interesting gun loadouts; both serious ones and ones where people were just trolling for the laughs. The character customization is fairly basic at the moment though there are enough gear options and colors for now, I am really hoping the customization is expanded on in the future.

TLDR: If you enjoyed the tactical shooters from back in the day such as Rainbow Six, the original few Ghost Recon games, or really any truly tactical team based shooter, you'll enjoy this game. You're able to both play Terrorist Hunt modes and PvP modes, and the community is pretty awesome so far.
