Some of the best gameplay in the franchise. And the plot is great even though it's retreading old material.

This lackluster remaster is atrociously bad. I tried to play the original Bioshock 2 that was bundled with it, but the game can't make it to the main menu without crashing. So I tried the Remaster. I was actually having a great time. The controls needed some tweaking but I was able to comfortably enjoy the game for 4 hours before calling it a night.

The next day I try to continue playing, and my recent save files are already corrupted. 2K really knows how to disappoint. What a letdown.

The RE2 Remake is not only my first Resident Evil game, but also my first horror game on Steam. I didn't think of myself as a horror fan, as I get easily frightened. But when I got a free copy of the game with my new PC I knew I had to try it out...

AND I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE THIS GAME.

For those who don't like reading a lot, this game is bloody amazing and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I should state that I do NOT talk about the story at all. I do however talk about gameplay mechanics and about 1 specific character.

Graphics
This is one of the most realistic looking games I have ever played. The environments are extremely detailed, with each location having a distinct look e.g. the underground looks quite industrial, the NEST is a futuristic shiny white lab, the police station looks like an old museum (because it is). The human characters look absolutely amazing. Some of the best I've seen in a game before. Ada is the best looking character in my opinion

Audio
The sound in RE2 immersed me in the experience like no other game has, mostly due to the directional sound option. The noises that the different zombies make is creepy, the sound of the lickers' slow movements sends a shiver down my spine, and don't even get me started on the Tyrants dreaded footsteps. Some of the voice acting feels a little cheesy, but I just take it as part of the 1998 experience.

Gameplay
The game requires the player to manage different materials and gear such as weapons, ammunition, healing items, and story related items. To collect everything some backtracking is required, but CAPCOM designed it in a way that you don't necessarily need to return to a location the same way you left it, so it doesn't get tedious and boring. The limited ammo means players have to pick and choose targets. Who can I safely avoid? Who do I want to kill to make return trips easier? I've had more than one occasion where I left enemies alive only to be overwhelmed later.

Good ol' Mr. X
I love the Tyrant and hate it at the same time. No review can do justice to the amount of terror this monster instils in me. This is easily my favourite mechanic in the game. His almost never ending hunt for Human blood acts as a timer. The game lets players get used to the gameplay and layout of the map before throwing this horrific spanner in the works, requiring players to plan their route and think about how fast they can move and how quiet they can do it. Whenever his music theme starts playing I immediately start freaking the ♥♥♥♥ out.

1st and 2nd Runs
The game has a feature where players can choose to play as either Claire Redfield or Leon S. Kennedy. Some story and item elements will differ depending on the chosen character. Then after after the game is finished, players can replay the game with the other character, with some alterations to item locations, puzzles and some story elements. I have a few issues with the logic behind this system, but I can look past it and just enjoy what has been changed.

Resident Evil 2 is hands down my game of the year for 2019.

It's the Batman V Superman we deserve, but not the one we need right now, so we'll wait for the sequel.

Seriously though, that sequel better be as awesome as this!

Most superhero games aren’t very good. But Arkham Asylum changed that. It made people say, ‘Finally! A superhero game that doesn’t suck!’ Batman Arkham Asylum is about Batman (duh) getting trapped in Arkham Asylum (also duh). Unfortunately he is trapped with some of the most dangerous criminals in all of Gotham, including the Joker, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy and Scarecrow.
The game controls aren’t too hard to figure out. You use the mouse to look around and to attack and block. Space to run, and ctrl to crouch. Every time you knock down a thug you get experience points. Get enough of them and you can level up. Levelling up allows you to pick an upgrade, such as armour improvements and new abilities. Obviously you can’t have a Batman game without gadgets, so throughout the game you will unlock many, including batarangs, grapple gun, and oh, did I mention explosives?
The Boss fights/Areas are quite varied, from overcoming Scarecrows fear gas, to sneaking through the sewers trying not to be eaten by Killer Croc. Although one problem I had with the game was the fact that Bane wasn’t smart. Instead all he does is throw things at you and ram you. But that’s pretty much my only problem with the game.
If this game was a spoon, it would a good spoon.
I’m giving this game spoon/10

Awesomenauts is a great game for people of all ages!
It has a Awesome cartoony look which makes it look fun.
It has a great gameplay style
and everyone will love it!

I think the only cons are that it can get a bit boring after a while and there arent enough unlockable skins.
