Hotel Barcelona Late Check-Out DLC is an expansion to the base game with adding 2 new stages, new enemy type encounters, and 2 new bosses to the game.

The 2 new stages were fun to explore and check them out while dealing with new enemy types that you haven't faced before.

You can access the new DLC by going into your hotel room map, then on the top right you can select either DLC maps or base game maps. Tight controls since the base game overhaul which also carries to the DLC as well.

The 2 new bosses intro decide was fascinating, although wish it was a little longer. As for the boss battles they were really intense, and fast paced. Look away for a sec and you're in real danger.

It was a fun and nice addition to the base game which is worth a try if you have completed the base game already.

Lone Ruin is an intense Action Roguelike where you play as a mercenary with mage powers and delve into dungeons filled with dangers and secrets.

The game offers 3 main zones each ending with a big boss battle, you go through waves of enemies in each area leading up the zone boss and get reward with your choice of picks on door area selection.

The game is really tight and really fast paced, there are no meta progressions pre run, you can only get stronger during the run itself either from active / passive spells upgrades. Responsive mechanics with responsive controls which I really enjoyed alot.

The music and OST in the game are Electronic Dark Synth beats that will really put you into that intense run vibes / mood.

The boss fights were all intense and yet fun at the same time, pumping that adrenaline and keeps you focused the whole fight, paying attention to those quick projectiles launched at you and dodging at the same time will be really crucial in order take down each boss.

Really recommended Action Roguelike with Hades like runs but instead of Bullet Hell theme and lots of projectiles instead, must try for the fans of the genre.

Before I Go is a Precision Platformer Metroidvania about a child on the bed of death in a fantasy world and your journey of meeting and saving different creatures in this magnificent world.

The game offers a huge interconnected zones filled with platforming challenges, puzzles and hundreds of secrets for you to discover as well as collect shards to upgrade your character skill tree.

The controls were pretty solid and tight, I didn't face a single bug/issue during my 100% playthrough, which is really amazing given the fact that this game was made a solo developer!! It plays super well and the aesthetics of the game and surrounding world is really magnificent, ranges from dark caves to sky heights and many more.

Music and OST was pretty nice and calming which allowed for hours of exploration without getting bored, I didn't mind listening to it the whole time during the playthrough.

The boss battles were huge and screen filling, you will need to use the abilities you gain from the world exploration and strategize the right timing to use them to avoid the bosses projectiles and attacks and defeat them, loved the designs for all of them especially the final boss.

It's a really recommended solid Metroidvania and a must play especially if you're a big fan of the genre.

Tadpole Tales is a Shoot 'Em Up about a small tadpole and its mission to clean the river from corruption.

The game is pretty short and consist of one linear river with enemies that keep flooding the screen and shoot bullets at you while you're trying to cleanse them at the same time. You face a big boss after each part of the river, the gameplay was super short as I finished my whole run in just 9 mins and 44 secs which was really sweet, despite being a short game, I still enjoyed it.

There are no other abilities except moving in 4 directions and a button for shooting at the enemies, no other abilities or upgrades, dying means you reset at the beginning of the river which is kinda roguelite inspired.

The music and OST was really nice, didn't get to listen to it much because of the short run but it was fine.

There are a total of 3 bosses only in the whole game with each taking an average of 1-2 minutes to beat if you don't have hearts collected during the run. The boss designs were fun and I enjoyed each one of them.

Recommended short and fun shoot 'em up adventure if you're into this kind of genre.

Morkull: Ascend to the Gods is a 2D Boss Rush and a sequel to the game Morkull Ragast's Rage, the game revolves around Morkull (The MC) and his attempts at getting out of the video game made by the "Developers" in this sequel he attempts once more to exit the game.

The game offers 8 doors with each having a brutal and challenging boss inside that you need to overcome in order to unlock the next one. There are permanent upgrades (HP, DMG...etc) as well as charms that you can equip to make your character stronger with each battle.

The OST and and music was top notch, intense themed songs that matches to each challenging fight.

Boss fights were brutal and challenging as well as focus and timings based, you have to check indicators that appear during the fight and act accordingly, like dashing, parrying etc. Punishing boss fights that will give you that adrenaline rush.

It's really recommended if you're into brutal challenging boss rush games.

Little Nemo and the Guardians of Slumberland is a Hand Drawn 2D Metroidvania where you play as Nemo and help him save slumberland and retrieve his lost memories in a world full of candy, toys and stuffed animals!

The game offers a big interconnected world structured of different themes, from grasslands to icy mountains and haunted lands.

You only have 3 lives the whole playthrough meaning 3 hits and you can wake up (the character doesn't die but instead wakes up from his dream), however there are some upgrades and pajamas that you character can obtain and equip in order to stay in the dream.

The controls and the animations were super flawless despite being hand drawn frame by frame which shows hard work and love was put into making this beautiful gem. I have faced only 1 single bug during my whole playthrough which sometimes makes the character fly offscreen bounds, happened like 2-3 times but nothing else is major and it didn't affect my playthrough as well.

The OST and music is nostalgic and brought peace to the heart because it will remind you of your childhood days and memories of the 90s NES era and you being as a kid in those comfy pajamas at home in winter nights.

The boss fights were fun and yet challenging at the same time as you only got 3 hits, each bosses got multiple phases to deal with and they get intense as phases move further which gives you the adrenaline rush.

It's a very recommended 2D Hand Drawn Metroidvania that I'm sure you will enjoy if you're a big fan of 90s NES era games, hand drawn cute games or metroidvanias in general.

GRIME II is a 2.5D Metroidvania and is a sequel to the first game GRIME, born out in a universe of mysteriousness and unknowns, you learn and adapt by devouring your enemies and gaining their abilities to find more about yourself.

The game offers a huge detailed interconnected world, the amount of assets used to create this beautiful world was out of imagination!! Small details mattered into creafting every single corner of the world and it was really worth the wait and the love put into it. Spectacular and colorful skies that will keep seeing during your whole playthrough.

The controls were flawless and I didn't have any issues at all, the combat system is very solid and heavily focused on parrying your enemies more than dodging. You will obtain many unique mechanics to traverse the world and will help you navigate and find hidden secrets in each zone.

The leveling system is close to the first game where you kill enemies, obtain experience and level up your stats, you also get a set where you can equip abilities called Molds which you obtain from devouring enemies as well as a big arsenal of weapons from bows, to swords to heavy weapons and many others.

OST and music was top notch and matches the theme of each zone and the game in general whether it's caves, forests, mountains. You will enjoy listening them for hours during your playthrough!!

The Boss fights were challenging and yet fun to tackle each single one, you learn and get better with each fight. I loved the art design of each one and the mechanics / strategy for each to beat.

It's a very recommended 2.5D Metroidvania and a must play especially if you played the first game already or if like metroidvanias in general. Thank you team Clover Bite for an amazing sequel and journey!

SILT is an Underwater Puzzle Adventure about a mysterious diver in a deep eerie and unsettling waters on search for the goliaths and destroy them to awaken the machine.

The game offers multiple screens in each zone filled with puzzles that you need to solve in order to proceed to the next screen until you reach end of the zone boss battle.

The controls and the physics were fun, roaming around in the darkness and all you have is a possession skill to take over and control other creatures as well as a light lamp that you can see with through the darkness.

There's no music in the game, only those deep quietness in the darkness of the sea, alone and cold you're on your own.

The boss battles weren't much of a head as your character cannot attack, you will need to take control of other creatures in the boss room and find the perfect strategy to defeat each boss.

It's a short recommended puzzle adventure with an eerie deep waters theme, if you're fan of games like Limbo, Planet of Lana or other puzzle platformers then you might like this one.

Minishoot’ Adventures is a top-down twin-stick shooter, bullet hell, Metroidvania where you play as a tiny spaceship on a mission to save your kidnapped friends and uncover the source of a spreading corruption.

The game features a large, interconnected world of islands and cave systems packed with secrets, challenges, and puzzles to discover. As you progress, you rescue other ships and rebuild your base—each one offering new abilities and upgrades to help you in battle.

The controls feel incredibly smooth and precise, even in tight spaces. Combat can get intense, with waves of enemies and screens filled with bullets, but the game equips you with satisfying mechanics and powers to skillfully dodge and survive.

Visually, the game is stunning. From deserts and forests to swamps and waterfalls, each area is beautifully designed, with equally impressive underground environments. The level of care and detail truly stands out.

The soundtrack is both relaxing and engaging, making it easy to lose yourself for hours. It also ramps up perfectly during boss fights, adding to the tension and excitement.

Boss battles are massive, screen-filling encounters that can be brutal but incredibly rewarding. Success depends on precise timing and careful movement as you weave through dense bullet patterns and tight spaces.

Overall, Minishoot’ Adventures is a highly recommended experience that blends exploration and intense combat beautifully. It’s especially worth playing if you enjoy twin-stick shooters or bullet hell games.

Mighty Goose is an Action Run 'n Gun where you play as the Mighty Goose on a mission to save the universe from the rule of the Void King!!

The game consists of multiple linear stages filled with enemies trying to swarm you from each side of the screen, and you have just 1 job, Let Goose Run Loose!! You will meet NPCs during your journey will join you as a secondary assistance that can accompany you during your missions. Wide variety of skills that you can choose from to match your playstyle.

There is a lovey inspiration which you will notice immediately if you're a big fan of the metal slug games, from the voice narration when you pick up weapons to gun mechanics and vehicles that you can ride and destroy your enemies.

The music and OST is top notch, it got that synth metal and the amazing thing that it was composed by the same person who did the music for Moonrider and Blazing Chrome.

The boss fights were fun and challenging only if you get overwhelmed, some of them went down quickly and some proved a challenge, but overall I loved every single one of them.

This is recommended if you love metal slug games or Run 'n Gun genre in general.
