I had played Hush Hush first before this one, and with thoroughly enjoying that, i wanted to try this one out too! While i really liked it, i was quite surprised at how short it was. I suppose it was going to be that way, what with there really only being 2 characters, Mallory and your Character, but it was nice to focus on just a singular person! The slow building romance between the two was really heartfelt and nice to listen to, the music was perfect as well! I'd definitely give the story a solid 7/10, my only criticism is that it felt too short.

This was also, very clearly, made in the second year of the COVID-19 Virus, Where the isolation of social distancing and the amount of lives being lost was beginning to look terrifying. Had things not calmed down in the world, i can only imagine that this is the future we would've been looking at, liveable, but becoming bitter, sheltered people in the process, like the protagonist at the start of the VN. I'm very thankful that i didn't lose anyone during that time, despite all of my family, including me, catching COVID.

Here's hoping this never happens again! Excellent VN, Great Plot, Great Real-World Storytelling, A little short, but it IS good.

I loved every single second of this DLC. Peanut is an exceptional character, wonderfully voiced by ShiyonVoices, and she absolutely brings this character to life. She is so insanely kind, sweet, affectionate with just the perfect amount of clumsiness, I don't think I could point out a single flaw with her, because there simply isn't any. It's a little embarrassing to admit, but I got really teary eyed a few times when she'd provide support and love and care near the end of the game, it got me supremely invested in her. I sincerely hope she shows up in future projects more and more, continuing to be a constant beam of positivity to everything around her for years to come.

Being a fan of the Crush Crush games, and admittedly, loving the little stories some of the girls got (Peanut!), I figured, with the recent Steam Sale, that I'd give this game a chance. I've never actually played through a Visual Novel, so this was a first!

And I can't imagine any other VN's coming close to how amazing this felt to play through. (Except maybe Cabin Fever? Wouldn't know! Yet.)

Seeing old faces, with a mix of new, gave it a sense of familiarity mixed with mystery! And even then, all the old characters had there stories INSANELY fleshed out for them, something you wouldn't expect if you came from Crush Crush.

The story is cute, funny, exciting and intense. Admittedly, I probably didn't play the way the Devs intended, as I read through a fantastic steam guide made by "Falcon", but that didn't take away from the story, as I was glued to every bit of dialogue, and spent my time reloading saves regardless just to see where dialogue options would take me.

I don't want to spoil the story, but I will say, some of the VA's absolutely blew me away, specifically, Iro's near the end. I don't believe I've ever experienced someone pour so much emotion into dialogue in my life. Genuine goosebumps.

Despite buying this on sale, I would highly recommend buying this VN regardless of the pricing if you're looking to get sucked into a gripping narrative for a few days.

For a game that's in early access, it's been really fun so far!

I haven't done much exploring yet, as i'm enjoying setting up a comfy house just outside of bramblemead, but i figured i'd leave my thoughts and provide some feedback from time to time!

While the gameplay is fun, i feel there's a slight lack of mobs (maybe because of where i'm located) and feel like there should be more roaming around? I can miss a few of my attacks when fighting enemies, either a skill issue on my end, or an issue with hitboxes/collison, so that could be worked on!

Gathering Food is a bit of a task, the game could do with more mobs (as said above) or farming from the main game(s)!

Optimisation is TERRIBLE. I can run the game, but only at the lowest settings possible, which isn't great, i'd love to enjoy the game at its prettiest because it's clearly a visual beauty, but i just can't without facing some serious framerate issues.

Overall i'd say the games off to a great start! The Water/Food/Bed mechanic isn't overly obnoxious, the construction (for me) is AMAZING and i could spend hours alone just making some amazing and fun builds, the audio is pretty good too, the tree cutting noises could use some work (the one where you're hitting it and it makes a klunk sound is hard on the ears), but the noise of rainfall on your building while you're indoors is just perfect!

One more small issue is that i had a co-op game yesterday with a random, who told me about how someone else came in and destroyed his property. There needs to be a change in the game so other players can't mess with your builds!

Endless amounts of fun, would highly recommend.
