If you play it casually, the game wears its age well, great gameplay and a good story, a worthy edition to the "Golden Age" of game development; until you try to hundred percent it. Then you start to notice every. little. piece of ancient jank; your enjoyment turns to cat piss in your mouth and you start to hate this game. At first, the challenges seem like they're going to be a breeze until you're on the hundredth challenge from the same 9 maps, for 4 unique characters each with their unique set of 3 repeating challenges.

This game is the sunk cost fallacy in digital form. Some people on the spectrum will say completing all achievements is a badge of honor, but in reality, it's a sign, a wake up call, that you have no one in your life who loves you enough to tell you to stop. Even after getting my last achievement there was no sense of accomplishment just the weight of knowing what I had just done. And the realization that, like the journey itself, I meant nothing. When I'm in hell, hundred percenting this game as Catwoman will be how I'm tortured.

All in all a great game, 8/10, would not play again.
