Coming from someone who played Persona 3-5 & SMT3 Nocturne before starting this game, SMTV Vengeance had me playing for all 3 endings, play a harder difficulty, and complete the compendium willingly, which none other game so far had be do. This game is currently my favorite out of the Atlus games just from a general sense rather on a specific aspect.
This game's combat is so unique that you can make any combinations of demon parties and make it work endgame with the right tools. The story of vengeance is not on the level of persona's stories, but nevertheless a good story to follow in between unlocking new demons and doing side quests. All the demons have great designs and have a certain archetype to them to represent their source material.
Completing the third ending genuinely put a void in my gaming time until recently when i found something to replace it, which took over a month to fill. I feel completely satisfied with this game and is worth every penny i spent on it. You can buy the game for $24 USD on sale pretty often, so it's worth picking up to put into your waitlist of games.
