This is set in a neat cyberpunk future Hong Kong, with absolutely gorgeous art to back up both the cyberpunk city scenes and the horror/ghost scenes. Aside from a couple of places where the progression items/backtracking required are a little obtuse, it's a straightforward walking sim exploring the story of an apartment building long abandoned.

The game mechanics themselves (a bit of fighting, lots of point and click) are a bit janky in places, but once you get used to it it's a non-issue. There's not a ton of replayability, but the developers added some with additional costume/story unlocks on replays. Plays two and three are basically the same: You're used to the game and can breeze through it; two allows unlocking a few more costumes (some very cute), and three gives a tiny bit more story at the very end before the credits.

Definitely worth buying and playing if you like ghost stories. Maybe not full price, but it's quality stuff. Hopefully we see more from Suzaku.

This is a well-designed idle game with actual progression and unlockables that feels rewarding. There are a couple big difficulty humps, but in general it is a nice relaxing idle game. You can get most purchases automated for you, get various upgrades (some permanent, some not) to aid your leaf collection, unlock tons of different numbers go brr types of leaves and things, etc.

The dev continues to update the game with more stuff, which is cool. A couple later additions have attempted to mitigate earlier balance issues, while not changing the balance, which I think is a good touch for ongoing development.

I'd put this on a tier between your generic clicker game where there's clicking, numbers, and not much else, and a high class clicker adventure game like Candy Box 2, for example. There's not much story to this one, but there's good progression, and it's not entirely mindless. You have to prioritize your upgrades early on, not just grabbing the cheapest all the time--that is, if you want to progress more quickly.

And to top it off, the game is free! The DLC just unlocks things which you can unlock over time in the game anyway, like skins--which is a nice touch. You can support the dev if you like the game, but don't have to (I'd recommend it if you're able, it's cheap).

Okay, so I lied a bit. It's not really a compendium of amazing designs with beautiful illustrations and thorough explanations but more like a notebook with a bunch of half-baked ideas and a ton of GIFs to make up for the poor content. I like to think of it
