I was originally put off by the fanbase of people who don't play rpgs (or haven't played one since ff7) insisting all modern rpgs suck and this is the best one in 20 years, but I said ♥♥♥♥ it and gave it a shot anyway. This game is a loveletter to the rpg genre, its insanely derivative and practically every positive quality has been directly lifted from another title (good thing btw). Also when people explain why the plot is so good in vague terms its for a reason, go in as blind as possible. Great game and i'd highly recommend it to hardcore rpg heads and newcomers to the genre.

Game is good and performance issues are overblown, with framegen it’s very playable on a mid range gpu from 6 years ago (5700) even at 1440p

They took literally everything in vanilla V and improved it, the bad parts are good now and the good parts are even better
