As much as I liked the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance and still recommend you play it before this game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II just blows its predecessor out of the water. I just found that practically every aspect has been improved upon - better and more combat options, more interesting quests, wider array of likable characters, better-paced story, great cutscenes and more hype moments, and DLC I actually liked. I played a lot of games that I liked in 2025, but Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was the one I loved the most in 2025.
