hmm I kind of reget upgrading to deluxe. The game itself is not bad but there is some stuff in it that in the end made me uninstall it.
I've bought it a few years ago and after the release i wanted to give it another try.
The first hours of the current version do feel very good.
In the current version i have only played sorc. Played until level 40.
Pro:
1) Good combat system
2) the sorc skills feel very balanced. No op stuff so far.
3) nice enemy design
4) skill tree is easy to understand
5) Map design is nice as well
Cons:
1) The most off putting issue i had was that I am getting loot for every spec in the game. I played sorc but on every second item I had minion damage....After the specialization I absolutly would prefer only getting stuff for my class and maybe spec.
2) Way too much loot in general and most of it is usless for you anyway. If the recommandation is that i should add lootfilter in order to see what is actually for my class I am already on the verge of quitting. Feels like flawed design. Maybe reduce the billion items that drop to just a few but they are rolled for your class and spec.
3) I personally don't like following meta builds because I find it very boring. So I do like to try out different skills with different specs. However the game punished that so hard. Why do I lose skill level with respecing. So i wanna try out a spec to see how it feels and once i realize I don't like it i will lose skill level for removing it again and have to grind again to get back to where I have been initially. So better not try out stuff. just go to maxroll and copy pasta.
4) same attribute for different skills just for the sake of more rng drops. Why for the love of jesus must there be melee crit chance, crit chance, spell grid chance and so on. Are you kidding me. The only reason to add something like this is to extent loot table. So the right combination is even more unlikely.

Hm I tried so hard to get into it but maybe this is just not the paragon I was looking for. I was hoping for a pre monolith paragon. For me the map is too big the movement speed and the overal game pacing is far too slow.
The item system and the aspect system just makes it so much less accessable and makes it just so much more complicate.
I literally could sit inside the spawn at th beginning for 10-15 minutes and just read all the stuff until I finally decide and what to take. Crucial minutes that will cost me xp and more.

Far too many items that needs to be activated in order to actually give the buff. So I have to keep an eye on the minimap (which by the way is too small for me and too buggy. camps won't be rendered as empty until I basically stand on the camp) and when I engange battle (or getting ambushed) I not only have to keep an eye on my mana, my life, my positioning, my skills (cdr) but also have to keep an eye on the activatable items.
The item shop is not very accessable either. I do like the filters of the item shop. But to be honest without the filter it simply would be horrible. Is there a filter for passiv items only?! I do miss the times when the only activateable stuff were wards and potions.
The more I play it the more it reminds me of the latest playable paragon (with slower pacing). That for thanks for the work I liked the idea and that's why I helped the funding (which I do not regret). Wish you all the best :-). I really really tried to love it but it's just not for me.

If you are looking for a paragon v.42 + the this one might suit your needs.
If you are looking for a pre monolith paragon you should check out predecessor.
I will stick with predecessor.

I would really prefer a star rating within the steam shop simply because I did not want to "not recommend" this game but also not "recommend" it at its current state. While I do understand that it is beta I have heared that it currently is on the final mile.
I decided to check it out again (bought it when it first appeared on steam).
The game made a lot of progress and it does feel a lot more like a diablo now which is not necessarily a bad thing. However if you want to use something from other games you should pick the good stuff not the average stuff.
First of all the technical issues that instantly draw my attention:
-> Background sound will be completly removed while characters are talking (feels just wrong)
-> Hitboxes for lootable items are rather bad
-> The area map you can open sometimes does not show you where you need to go simply because it does not show the entire current map
-> Sometimes interactions are not possible anymore (requires a game restart. Not so horrible since it is still a beta)
-> Skills sometimes get canceled during the animation because of the map. Especially skills that do jump animations

Now to the game itself. I bought it back then because I thought it has real potential (and still think so).
However this game takes a good amount of diablo 3 mechanics. I assume they wanted a similar hooking playstyle.
The fighting system is decent but it failed to hook me. The game has 3 classes (melee, wizard, range) but you can equip each one with every skill and weapon type which does confuse me.
For example I choose wizard but I can equip melee skills. Why should I choose classes at the start then?

I am also not the biggest fan of randomly finding active skills as well as the fact that skills require specific weapon type in order to use them. I would like to see active skills within a skill tree. That would give me a feeling of what skills are available and I could plan on my build I would like to use.
The only "skillboard" existing right now is only for passiv skills. I would love to see something similar for active skills (like the sphere grid in final fantasy x which did combine active and passiv skills).

The fact that skills are bound to weapon types really did grind my gear. I had a lot of situations where I had to dump my loot which in theory would boost my damage but it simply was not compatible to my skills and I refused to use melee skills as a wizard :D (it just felt wrong).
You have two resources (like deamon hunter in diablo 3). But unlike in diablo 3 it feels not so smoothless to keep those resources in balance especially if you change your skills like your trousers because your new gear requires other skills. Overall the resources felt like it is a feature which aims to set the game apart but in my case it just felt like a burden which does not add depth to the combat system at all.
Some skills are also really slow in reaction (the beam for example). While you activate the beam and you are trying to rotate your character it takes ages.

I may have added a lot of negativ points here but the game is not bad in general. It is fun to play (and it still has a lot of potential). But it is not a replacement for diabo nor for path of exile. The overal game design is not as hooking as diablo.
At the current state I don't see myself spending 1000+ hours in this game like I did in diablo 3.
I will keep around and will check it out continuously. I will also update the review on a regular base.

I haven't played yu-gi-oh since my childhood (15 years ago). Apparently it has changed much.
Now you only have 3 monster and 3 trap slots which just is ......
Futhermore you only are allowed to put 20-30 cards in deck which is also not so much fun.
However I tried and had not much fun while doing it. That cardgame is simply not competitve.
I had some fun with bots when the rng is not screwing me over (which happended a lot).
But i will never again touch pvp in that game. Its just so heavily rng based. I can tell in the first 10 seconds of the match if I can simply give up.
If you are first you basically have a disatvantage because you are not allowed to draw a card or attack.
with 30 cards in deck (15 monsters) one might think that it should work out somehow.
However I tons of matches where i was first and drew all 3 of my tribut monsters and 2 additional cards which were also no use.
Since the game gives a player only 4000 livepoints it happens rather often that you get killed of in 2 rounds when rng is giving you just crap and you have to start the match.
There are tons of 4 star monsters with 2000 ATK. For me it seems like that cardgame grew way to faced paced and rng based.
I will stick to magic the gathering. Also not the best and also somewhat rng based but there are easy ways to draw multiple times during your round so you can fight rng to a degree.
Btw I played the mobile version first. I am also kind of disapointed that you can not access your progress. Not too much since I already removed it from mobile and again from steam.
I have checked the entire game linup that franchise has currently and all the clients are rather cheap implemented.
I would love a classic game (without that fast paced and non competitive rules, basically with the old classic ruleset) and with the quality and love implented like magic the gathering arena. That client is just soooooo good.

[Update:]
@gmagenheimer: Thank you for that awesome support ;).
I did exactly what you suggested. I've installed another voice recognition engine and now I get 99% recognition rate.
I can now recommend the product without restriction.
For those who read this. I had an issue with the windows voice recognition engine (I have an astro A50 headset). The engine had a recognition rate lower than 1%.
If you also encounter issues like me just follow up the developer instructions attached to this review.

Hi everyone. This is basically one of the best rts games I've ever played. It has everything a good rts game needs in my opinion (as most of the previous C&C).
You can build huge bases and you don't have a unit limit.
AGAIN NO UNIT LIMIT. This is a must have for me :)
You can upgrade your units and you can combine different units for different tactics. You can still buy this game nowdays cause the graphic is still good in my opinion. You can't use the original multiplayer anymore cause the servers are down. But there is a well working community project which you can join for free and play with or against others.
It's making me that they killed the franchise. You won't find any remotly compareable rts game nowdays. Most of the are designed for short matches. Basically choose your units and rush in. Yay 10-15 minutes matches.
I love to remember the old times where a good c&c session took 3-4 hours of fun and a lot of ups and downs on each side. Great times. Great Game. :)
But it have fun and join the community project.

Basically the worst rts game I've ever played in my entiry life. Not because of story or the units but the controls.
A good rts game should be playable with the mouse only or at least it should be possible to move over the map with the mouse. But for that you need w & a & s & d on your keyboard. And to change the angle you need c & v.
WTF?! They must have been on a permanent lsd trip. You can change the controls but only to other control keys on your keyboard and not for example your mouse.
Would it be so hard to stay confrom to the rts genre?! Press scroll button on the mouse to change the angle and press and hold the left mouse button to move over the map? It would be that simple.
I know it sounds kind of strange and for some people it might not be a huge problem but for me it's making the game unplayable.
LOL and the game doesn't support multiple monitors by the default settings. You have to set a checkbox which capures the mouse within the frame. Why is this not selected by default?! Another 45 bucks burned for nothing.

My long time favorite has finally made it to pc. After its ps2 release I have at least spend 1000 hours with that game. Took a lot time to fill out the entire sphero field not to mention the time it took to boost each aeon to its maximum. I will definitly spend a lot time doing that except same thing on pc now. AND I'LL LOVE IT. Thanks Square Enix :).

Very good game. The second best devil may cry besides the third one. I love it :)

Edit:
One negative point:
There are far too less healing orbs during a contract. And you won't get enough red obs to buy you more than one little healing star. If you're lucky you can afford the big healing star.
I'm currently playing it on devilhunter, but it feels a lot more difficult.

However it's a gread game ;).
