I love the look and atmosphere of the game. When you are seeing all of the events for the first time, despite not being able to figure out anything, it is enjoyable. But as soon as you make it to the point you have to backtrack the game plummets for me. some of the crazy leaps in logic you have to do to figure things out along with the developer intended obtuse and tedious way to revisit old chapters makes it a slog to play. I genuinely don't understand how anyone is supposed to figure this whole game out without getting fed up with how annoying it is to revisit a past scene. I've tried this game twice, once around when it came out and I was really interested in it, and a second time recently after I played and really enjoyed case of the golden idol. I thought after that game was so similar, I might be able to finally enjoy Obra Dinn, but no. Both times I couldn't make it past half the fates correct before giving up. Unless you are very stubborn or committed, id say avoid this game. It tests your patience and logic leaps a bit too much.
