Honestly, this is spiritually a better Crusader Kings than CK3. The music is phenomenal, as is the sound design. The trade is how I would have liked it to be in CK2. Sure, you still feel that it's a Paradox game early after release, but tbf, it's way better at release than a lot of other Paradox games that were released. You can pause the game and waste hours micromanaging, or do stuff as you play, it works for both playstyles imo. The automation you can do is also a lot of help and helps especially getting good deals without checking the market every month yourself. It has an improved version of CK3's tooltips, but ofc there are still a lot of mechanics that could be documented better. It's still quite a mess depending what country you play, but I feel like Tinto does care and listen to our feedback, even though communication is iffy sometimes. Another note are the small details, like that they switched from the great people theory kinda type of game Europa Universalis 4 was, to a more national/population focused type, which shows in the loading screen quotes, like Napoleon being referred to as "lieutenant".
