There's a lot of tension when it comes to crossing the border these days, so I think Canadians have been sticking to their own stores for the time being (we have pretty good produce! :D). I don't think the Canadian dollar has been par with the US dollar in almost 15 years.

Hehe, sore fingers are basically a rite of passage for learning guitar. I’m sure your fingers will get used to the strings over time - are you starting off with acoustic or an electric guitar?
