This game is fantastic. The story leads on indirectly from the first game, which was a rogue-lite but which you don't need to have played beforehand. This game is a story-focussed space faring adventure game with largely hand-crafted locations and a huge galaxy to explore.
There's a ship to match any playstyle and you can customise your ship with an impressive array of cosmetics, weapons and utilities. What's more, and this shouldn't be so refreshing but it is, all of the cosmetics and ships etc. are found in game, plentifully supplied and don't need to be ground painfully or bought as microtransactions.
I played the game for the first 3 hours, I knew I needed it in my life, and immediately bought the DLC. Good story, great gameplay (once you get the hang of the controls - I recommend K&M), banging soundtrack... it's great! if you wish elite had a story and was a little bit simpler to fly around in, this game is for you.

Planet Coaster can suck it... this is still the greatest theme park sim.

Great game - shameful behaviour by the dev

A challenging zen experience - very nice simple game. I got this on mobile first and the PC port is very good! There are daily runs and the community content on the workshop really add to the experience. If you enjoy OCD and Zen experiences, this is very good. Would recommend.

Very fun, challenging and deep Rogue-Lite with more variety run-by-run than most games in the genre. The daily runs are fantastic and sometimes contain seasonal surprises. I've never actually managed to complete a run... I'm bad at this game and I love it.

"Fun with friends" is an understatement for this game. If you have a friend or two (or 4 like I had at one stage) playing with you, this game is impossible to put down, challenging when you get to each new area, rewarding as you get more powerful and craft new gear and the building is some of the best out there.

If you plan on playing solo, while you definitely *can* have a lot of fun, the grind to get the gear and the challenge of the tougher swarms is going to make this one difficult to recommend. Having another pick-axe to help mine, or an extra shield to help you survive really makes all the difference and turns what would otherwise be frustrating into magic.

10/10 with friends, 7/10 without.

For all it's flaws, the many crashes, the glitches that force you to reload fairly frequently, piss-poor tutorial and some awkward writing... Necromunda: Hired Gun is a lot of fun!

When you get a good set of guns and the game's running as intended it's truly brilliant. I love the story too!

If you want a chill space adventure, this is for you! Cruise around the galaxy transporting goods, mine asteroids for fat stacks, hunt dirty pirates as a bounty hunter... or be a pirate! The FPS sections are janky as hell and the default controls are rubbish, but get it set up how you like it and you're in for a treat! would reccommend if you can pick up the base game and both expansions for less than £40.

Konami's last good gaming property. It's only £25... well worth it. Far better than Fifa and dead easy to mod proper kits/badges into this one.

Hey, do you like mindless repetitive busiwork to distract your brain from the world outside? Do you want to practice driving without the risk of actually killing someone? do you want to practice driving drunk without the possibility of actually getting arrested? If the answer to at lease 2 of these questions is yes, I reckon you'll enjoy this game. The DLC's add up, but you don't really need them and they go on sale often enough.
